Melbourne fan here Smiley

I was like 7 the last time they played here, so it would be amazing if they came down. I'm not getting my hopes up though Sad

What are us Aussies doing posting anyway right now? Its the middle of the day. Are you guys at work?

The reason Im on is because I quit my job a couple of weeks ago to focus more on university so Ive got a hell of a lot more free time.

 hihi hihi

Same here. I knew the idea of taking time off work to focus on my Arts/Education degree was a wasted hope.

I used to work customer support for an online casino and some shifts itd get dead slow for hours at a time. Id lurk here a lot just watching the threads and reading the goss. Now I can sit on the internet in the comfort of my own home and not get paid $30 an hour to do it   Sad

Gunner from Sydney here. Wow all you guys coming out of the wood work!

I also heard on Triple M last week that they have had word from promotors that something is coming.

However if they were to come here, I would assume it would be after some Japanese/Asia dates.

Itll probably be a bit closer to Sydney this time as well seeing as we now have Telstra Stadium.

I personally hope they play Aussie Stadium since its easier for me to get to.

Itll be huge if they come!

I'm not so sure Guns could fill the stadiums, I could be wrong.

My guess would be the Sydney Superdome or Entertainment Centre.

I think I'm more surprised that Triple M even reports stuff like that, rather than the news itself...

Fuckin shitty excuse for a "rock" station.

Yea - youre probably right. I think my sense of GnR size gets skewed because Im here a lot. A small venue show would kick ass and be worth every bit.

Ooooh this better be true. Entertainment Centre would be awesome! I saw Green Day at Telstra Dome and it sucked!

I recon it'd be the superdome. I dont really enjoy outdoor events anyway. And yes the SFS is tons better then Telstra stadium.

Hmmm... I thought that was a promo competition with Coca-Cola, not Pepsi.
I remember you had to collect bottle caps and you could bid for different prizes - a Gibson guitar, signed leather jacket, brand new Ute with GN'R logos on it, and a couple of other GN'R related things.

Maybe it was a Pepsi promo in QLD, because here in Sydney it was most definitely a Coca-Cola competition. I think I still have some old stickers from it lying around somewhere. Their Eastern Creek gig in 1993 was sponsored by Coke too.
