That's a beautifully played part of his solo.   I really liked how he played that -- I wish he would take note of the reaction and cut back on the carbon-copy shredding and play more melodic stuff, cause he obviously a really talented guitar player.

thats the problem his shreading is not melodic enough except on Nov Rain. Melody is where Slash & even Buckethead thrive. Nightrain NEEDS to be more melodic

No.
I swear to god if sweep picks or taps the outro of November Rain I'll shoot him.

Play the fucking thing regularly.
I'm not saying don't add your spin on it but don't sweep or tap in a solo like that.

it was phenomenal as simply a solo, but the crowd singing all the lyrics just brought it home Cheesy

In my opinion, this was Axl's way of testing out the reaction of the song. If it got a good response, or if no one cared Bumblefoot would just start playing something else at that moment instead of DC. I do believe we will hear the full song at some point during the Euro tour.

Ya, I still don't get how Axl refuses to play one of, if not the best GN'R songs.

its a great song...really simple but just perfect. lots of raw emotion. I just think its too nostalgic for Axl...quite a shame Undecided

It would also be a song that's not overly taxing for him to sing.  It has a lower vocal range for most of the song, so it would give Axl a little break in between harder songs to sing

I totally think that they will play it live soon. just drop some other songs, I really dont see the need to play LALD or KOHD for that matter.

Maybe they should do it like they did Wild Horses on the UYI tour... have Bumblefoot play it on guitar for a bit then Axl comes out and just sings the chorus
