I had an ear cartilidge piercing once. It didnt hurt when I got it, but it killed for the next month and a bit, especially if I bumped it. Then I decided I didnt like it and took it out just as it started to feel normal. Good luck with it man  |

I was using a shitload of disinfectant and stuff - I did a bit of research and actually had it checked by a doctor. Apparently that area of the ear just takes a long time to recover and get back to normal. It wasnt painful all the time, its just that Id end up rubbing against it a lot when putting shirts on or headphones which did make it hurt because Id pull on one end of the stuff. I guess a shirt piercing would rub more. Anyway ... back on topic :p |

ahh gotcha...yeah mine was like all bubly and stuff...it killed and i hat to take it out...i used tones of disinfectant too it jsut wouldn't heal and i had to remove it so yeah....nipples |

I have heard it very much depends on how it is done.. the girl who did it on me was a beginner, and had just done it a couple of times before.. I did it at a tattoshop in London, SoHo i think.. He said that when pro`s did it, they made it go faster and less painfull.. i dont know.. But it was way worth it.. I guess Axl calmed down with Jack Daniels when he was peirced.. lol |

everyone who had their ear cartilages pierced I know had the same problem to tomorrows. Still IMO a navel is the worst part to wear a pierced ring. Worse than having a pierced tongue. Pants, knickers, belts and such rub against it harder than shirts do against a nipple ring. he no longer takes his top off onstage

I got my nipple pierced a couple years ago and all i can say is it hurts like a bitch! Get yourself drunk before you get it done. The worst part of the experience was the clamps they put on the nipple. The whole needle going through the nipple wasnt that painful.

The story I remember hearing years ago was that Axl and Tracii Guns went together to get their nipples pierced. Tracii said Axl was in so much pain he couldn't go through with it. Of course in the mid-80's peircing wasn't very popular so who knows what back alley shop they went to!

It was a little numb during the healing process. I have heard from many piercers that the nipple for a man is the most painful piercing anyone can get. Since guys dont have milk glands in their nipples there is nothing to sooth the pain as it would for a woman. |
