im not convinced that all the songs that were leaked and played live are all going to be on the album

the ones im pretty sure about are better the blues twat because axl said those were some of his favorites ?Also i think irs and chinese democracy will make it but im not positve because axl said in the trunk interview that they were still shifting the songs between the first and 2nd albums

1. Chinese Democracy
2. Prostitute
3. Better
4. The Blues
5. T.W.A.T (There Was A Time)
6. I.R.S.
7. If
8. Madagascar
9. Seven
10. This I Love
11. Rhiad and the Bedouins
12. Catcher In The Rye
13. Sorry

I hate this setlist because if it's true,
then I've already heard 8/13 songs!
and that sucks big time!

cmon!

P.S. and I think "seven" would be 7th song:)
if its actually on the album

« Reply #63 on: November 05, 2006, 04:35:14 PM »

this is bullshit, i doubt Riad will be on, and althought i would want This I Love to be on it, i dont think it will be either.

and as stated earlier,  they would not put TWAT and The Blues back to back like that.

We have had tons of rumored tracklists, what makes this any different??

I find it absolutely hilarious that any of you have the balls to say "X song isn't going to be on CD. or X song will be on" nobody here knows anything about the tracklist, or which song is axl's 'ace in the hole'... give up dudes. I mean your all great n all but don't pretty like you know anything that is going on... you don't. Axl said it himself at hammerstein

Did richard clearly say that it was slated for the first album or like it might make it?

and I think someone said the title had changed.

Didn't Richard claim CD was to be released in 05 or something too hihi

I think the members often say things they think will happen, until Axl comes in and changes his mind again.
In all fairness, they didn't state things for confirmd fact.  I think things had been changing then through force of circumstances.
in this age of internet, it's hard to imagine these friends not having closely kept in touch with each other.

Rhiad doesn't sound that bad.. I think for starters there isn't a real good sounding bootleg of this song for us to be able to judge, and they only really played it scarcely on the 02 tour, when Axl's voice particularly was still a bit rough.. I'm sure it has potential, well wait and see

Rhiad and the Bedouins, is a horrible song.  I really hope it's not on the cd.  CITR is a great song it better be on the new one.

I'm sure they will put a great, SOLID album. I do not believe they are concerned about releasing songs WE have not heard yet. This is an album, not a rarities collection. What is "old" to us is new to others.

Axl & Co are gonna put 13 tracks of the best material that they have at this point and time.  Cant see Ruyad being on there and cant imagine Catcher NOT being on there.  Also who the heck knows whats gonna be on there, what about The General, Suckerpunched, Atlas Shrugged, Thyme, Friend or Foe, etc Huh

LOL, that made me think of the rumor that Friend or Foe would be included in the T3 soundtrack. The origin of the rumor? One picture on the T3 website wich had this text attached The Terminator is back, is he friend or foe?

The good 'ol days hihi

and even those may not be set in stone, who knows if things have changed between then and now!!

The funny thing about this kind of shit is how as soon as we hear about new songs we never heard of, or like in the past a band member says a certain song will be on the album, one of these tracklists pops up.

If a fake tracklist had popped up 2 weeks ago, we know what 2 songs wouldnt have been on there. It would have been something like Thyme and Oklahoma instead.

James nailed this shit on the head.

Also, why does everyone act like songs like...

"Ides of March"     confirmed by Dave Dominguez / 2005
"Leave Me Alone"       confirmed by Marco Beltrami / 2002
"Oklahoma"             confirmed by Axl Rose / 2000
"Seven"                confirmed by Marco Beltrami / 2002
"The General"             confirmed by Marco Beltrami / 2002
"Thyme"               confirmed by Marco Beltrami / 2002

can't be on Chinese Democracy?

They were obviously from the Chinese Democracy sessions.. professionals actually worked on them.
