Um, yeah, thanks for that JB...
Scott sounds great on both It's So Easy and Mr Brownstone (being that they're both sung with deeper vocals) and it's always a treat to see Slash, Duff & Matt blasting through them too. They were both highlights of their Aussie shows for me!
Although I'd be happy if they dropped Used To Love Her and played You Got No Right instead.

well i dont think they should be playing GNR songs, it doesn't really make any sense if you ask me. you are right in that they should play You Got No Right. Its one of the only songs on Contraband thats better than mediocre. Scott has no business singing Axl's tunes. Its odd how fraudboy bashes Axl every second he gets yet he goes on stage and sings his lyrics.

It's great to see you spending so much time here and making trouble all the time. Anyone can play classic GN'R tunes, even local bands, even Axl's Nu-GN'R, even VR.
Back on topic: I'd be happier if they played YGNR instead of UTLH since IMO YGNR is a better song?

So me stating my opinion on VR playing GNR songs is "making trouble all the time"?
for future reference, if you are going to address me and expect a discussion, don't refer to Guns N' Roses as "Axl's Nu-GN'R" or anything like that. I'm not even going to debate with someone who makes such ignorant statements and makes up lame ass names for Guns N' Roses. GNR is GNR and of course they are going to play GNR songs. That is all.

JB, I hear where you're coming from, but you sound just as bad as the trolls that frequent the threads bashing Axl. Was there any real point in starting shit about Scott here? It's just starting unneccessary arguments, and I know you're above that dude.
Fair enough if you don't like VR playing GN'R songs, but the band is 3/5 ex GN'R so to me they have just as much right as Axl does. But that's another debate altogether.
Let's keep it to topic if we can, I'm excited about new VR stuff just as I am new GN'R stuff.
And there's plenty of room here for mutual discussion about both.
Anyway, looking forward to more reviews, keep them coming in.

Axl's lyrics? Duff and Izz might have something to say about that...
But, fwiw, I agree with you, they should be starting to drop the STP/GNR covers. It's a crime that they played
Used To Love Her
instead of
You Got No Right
, and
Mr Brownstone
could probably make way for another new song or
Headspace
.
