I think you are wrong on both accounts.. mainly because america (the band) didn't release an album 2006 and they weren't a 2 hit wonder band in the 80's.. if it really was america (the band) CDe meant, then he got his facts wrong?
wether america is a country or continent i don't know but this is what i have been taught:
United States of America is a country in the continent North America wich is a part of America? the citizens of USA is called americans though, they are faily ignorant to other countries and have too large thoughts about themselves, don't you agree?
