in 1999(I think) there was some rolling stone article in the making...
they asked Axl to write in his own words what had been going on back then...
it's said that axl wrote some pages... but then canceled the deal.
would have been interesting to read those as well...

well, if I remember correctly... Axl finished the whole "interview"... but later canceled the thing with rs.
it went something like this... (and take into account that I cant remember all the details)
RS asks axl to do an interview...
Axl accepts only if he is to write it on his own...
RS accepts...
Axl or manager tell RS that they have the article done... (cant remember how many 1000 words article it was)...
later... they cancel the deal...

THIEVES!  anyway, i believe it was a 10,000 word document for RS which Axl wrote about the break up of GNR, but puled out of the deal the day after it was promised to the magazine. (or at least that's what it says in the GNR biogrpahy: the band that time forgot" |
