Only the pre-orders are limited to 1,000 copies.

The fanpack is going to be available EVERYWHERE that magazines are available: Newsstands, grocery stores, bookstores, etc.

That's the whole point.
Dam thats so cool I barly have to go a mile to get this fanpack!!!!!

 Cool

Joe

As long as you live in England.

Dam it.............................

O well then how do I get it?
ask some english gentleman to buy it for you and to send it to you for what it'll cost him for it

Don't forget the Scottish and Welsh gentlemen. Tongue (And Irish too I assume....)

I just pre-ordered it. I don't think subscribers automatically get it but if I end up with two, I'll sell one to the highest bidder. Bidding starts at ?20 plus P+P.
if you'd be a gentleman you woud sell it for the same price you bought it Wink

These things appreciate in value over time. Could be ?25 by tomorrow.....

SLASH Explains Why OZZY Track Was Nixed As First Single - Mar. 8, 2010

The Pulse of Radio reports: Slash has released the first single from his upcoming self-titled solo debut, a song called "By The Sword" featuring vocals from WOLFMOTHER's Andrew Stockdale. However, the initial choice for first single was "Crucify The Dead", with Ozzy Osbournesinging. Slash explained why the switch was made. "The problem with this record is, because I do have all guest singers, you run the risk of, you know, getting singles rights and interfering with the release of other people's records," he said. "So that's really what the issue was, is making sure that whatever single I was using wasn't sort of stepping on the toes of that artist's own record. And Ozzy's got a new record coming out."

Yeah I think the underlying factor is Ozzy's album is coming out in the summer, let's face it most people don't really know about Slash's solo project unless they are GNR/VR/Slash fans , so if you hear Slash on the radio the LAST think ( from his marketing perspective ) you want to think is sweet a new OZZY song with Slash playing. You want it to be known it is Slash's song.

From Slash's MySpace update:

March 8, 2010 - Monday

New Update

Hello out there, a little long between updates I know, but I've been busy with promo, rehearsal etc. But all is well, I just had a great little trip to Europe doing press, everybody was great. It was very productive all in all.

Its my pleasure to mention that I have finally regained control of my website from my old merch company, as I am no longer working with them. That means Slashonline.com will be active again ASAP.

Tour dates are coming together. I will have Europe, Japan & Australia dates to announce by next week. South America, Mexico & US dates will soon follow.

I'll announce the touring band next week as well. Its going to be a pretty fucking cool band to say the least.

The new "Slash model" Les Paul comes out April 1st in the USA & Custom Shop limited edition models. The Epiphone version hits the stores August 1st.

The Marshall AFD is in development & coming along fantastically. We'll keep you in the loop at afd100.com. This is definitely one hell of a Marshall!

The 1st single from my solo record, "By the Sword" featuring Andrew Stockdale is out, so hit up your local radio station & get them to play it. Use what ever means of coercion possible!

That's it for now but I will have all the show updates & band details coming your way this week.

Until then, caio! Iiii|; ),

From Rolling Stone's Spring Music Preview

Slash

SLASH 4/6

LOWDOWN: After a 25-year stint in two highly volatile bands, Slash is relieved to finally be calling the shots. "It was very cathartic," the guitarist says. "I'll go back to Velvet Revolver with a whole new point of view." He recruited all-stars for the hard-rock record, including Dave Grohl, Kid Rock, Iggy Pop, Ozzy Osbourne and Lemmy. Most surprising is the Black Eyed Peas' Fergie, who sings the intense "Beautiful Dangerous." Says Slash, "People are going to trip when they hear the stuff she is capable of."

Touring Lineup Annouced
Ladies & gentleman, the line up for the tour, besides myself, is:
Myles Kennedy (vocals & guitar), Bobby Schneck (rhythm guitar), Dave Henning (bass) & Brent Fitz (drums). Check it out at a @%$&?! venue near you!

I'm still waiting for confirmation on ALL the tour dates. I don't want to just post some, so just hang in there a little longer.

Also, we're getting traction on the radio with "By the sword" featuring Andrew Stockdale, so keep hounding your local radio stations. I guess it's working.

 Thank you,
  Slash iiiii|; )
