this was Axl from a few weeks ago...

Who's in the band?

I think we'll go with a combo of who's around and who's on the album for now and worry about that when we get ready to tour.

and this is from today's release...

Guns N' Roses is proud to announce that guitarist  n' songwriter Dj Ashba has joined the band for an upcoming tour.

It's hilarious that everyone is talking about GN'R like it's a sports team that just pulled off a trade for that wing player that will fill some void for them.  "This is awesome!  He will bring much needed toughness and scoring!", "This will be an interesting piece of the puzzle, it's about time we started surrounding the franchise with some solid role players!"...

I don't give a shit, really.  Bring in Tommy Thayer wearing a Top Hat or a Bucket at this point.  rofl

Does this mean all the material Axl didn't use for the Chinese Democracy CD is going to have to be re-recorded with this guy's guitar work?

If so, next new GN'R album coming in 2015.
