I am, but for some reason I don't see my own tweets when I'm browsing the #HappyBirthdayAxl 'topic'.
Also, I read some trending topics and there's a new tweet every 3 seconds or so, so we need more people to make this a TT Smiley

To whoever is tweeting, just a friendly request: Don't Spam.

Twitter may block your account for spamming, which is against their rules. And also spamming can invalidate our whole #HappyBirthdayAxl topic. Yes they verify it to see if it's a legit discussion before allowing it to show as "Trending Topic".

When you use the #HappyBirthdayAxl tag, don't post it alone, don't post it with one word only, or random words or letters, don't repeat the tag in the post. Don't post incessantly. All of this is called "spam" and is against twitter's rules.

Try to follow the topic. Click the #HappyBirthdayAxl tag in any post to read what's being talked by those of us who are celebrating. And if you see someone starting spam, warn them about this, and teach them how to see the topic so that we turn this into a real talk.

Please post this to the other forums.

i think i'm pretty good with internet innovations, but im pretty new with Twitter and I dont fully understand how it works (i just made an account to demand Axl a DVD from Osaka  Grin ).

No, apparently you need to say something along with it (not just one word or random characters) so that twitter doesn't see it as spam. Good example is what Jarmo did on the front page of htgth.
