I am happy the world is getting to see GNR. I can not wait til they hit the U.S. I seen them open for Aerosmith in the late 80's and saw them on the Illusion tour in 91. I am way overdue. Can not believe it has been almost 20 years.

well gnr had shows in NA two times in 2002 and 2006,but response didn't be good... 2002 there was definently a resistance to the new lineup, they only drew decent crowds in larger cities like New York. Buckethead was being called a cocksucker and people would chant slash at concerts, etc. There was much more acceptance back in 2006 and it was a more sucessful tour. I expect the fan fare to be even better in 2010 in the states. As far as Mexico they probably could play places like foro sol and the other stadiums metallica played judging by the sold out shows in 2007. |

As we can see in Central America gnr only have stadium shows...Maybe the biggest show on tour will be in Central America
