Guns N' Roses Are Back... THE RITZ !@!@

After 21 Years !@

Webster Hall reemerged on May 1, 1980 as The Ritz nightclub, and until its relocation in 1986, it was a leading venue for rock shows in New York City. The roster of Ritz performers included, Madonna, Tina Turner, Eric Clapton, Prince, Sting, Guns N? Roses, KISS, among many others. In 1990 the building was purchased by the Ballinger Family from Toronto, and returned the Webster Hall name to the reborn dance club and concert venue which remains today.

No updates as o' 1:15, guess the camera policy is in full force. People apparently are hesitant to even post updates.

The show is tomorrow, not much to update right now.

I hope you all have an awesome time!!!  Very jealous I won't be attending this one!  I hope the camera police calm down although I was guilty at Roseland of taking a gazillion pics.

Does anyone know what's its like on the balcony at Webster Hall?  I've got VIP tickets and as trying to decide whether to go for front of stage or have a more relaxed view from the balcony.

Hi, although I have not been there, you may be able to have an idea what is the view from balcony like by checking some youtube videos like below (*Please watch for sound volume):

And I just called the venue (below) if I can bring in a camera, and the answer was "no photography tonight".  Bring with your cell phone instead.

I've been in the balcony at WH, it's a pretty good view.  I think they may have had a bar up there as well.  I've been there twice, and the last time was over 5 years ago so I don't remember just how hot it can get, but I've heard it can be stifling when very full.  Might be better to stay away from the heavy crowd if possible, at least that's my strategy.
Anyone else here hanging out at Village Pourhouse or elsewhere pre-show?

I was at Roseland and I walked in about 11:25 and the band came on around 11:30.  Opener plays at 10.

Your sources are every other GNR show this tour? ok

If you bought the "GOLD VIP Package" from GNR.com - you are let in about 15/20 mins before doors open. Meet at box office and they will find your name.

At Terminal 5 a guy came outside to those waiting in the VIP line, checked your ID and gave you the VIP pass.  Security patted you down and then let the VIPS inside.  It was smooth.  And tonight isn't going to be nearly as cold as Sunday night was.  Do NOT forget your ID!  If you do, you will have to go in the GA line!
