Pulled the trigger and landed tickets for Montreal (Aug 19/17). Went all out for this one and went with the WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE PIT / RISER EXPERIENCE  beer

Was there last summer. Bleacher seating for the grandstand. Actual seats for the floor.  You want to sit in sections 1-8 to avoid being in the sun until it goes down (if you choose grandstand). I think it holds around 30k. Parking was free in the fields.

Cool. Is row AA the actual first row or is it row A?

I saw that the concert capacity is 30K... this is why I don't understand dedicating an entire leg of the tour to what I wouldn't even consider secondary markets (St Louis, Denver, and Miami being outliers). Why specifically skip Pittsburgh and Philly to hit Hershey?

Hershey, Buffalo, and Montreal are the closest they make it to New England, NYC, and Long Island?

I'm really hoping for additional dates.

Not that far at all, if it's like last summer.

Especially in the center.

There will be 50-60 thousand at the Edmonton show.  Not a bad secondary market

Just got floor seats for Buffalo!  So pumped!

Ha!  I got shut out of GA (was trying for that first), but then had to settle for floor seats.  No worries, I'll still be on my feet the entire show.  You're right about the pit for European shows (and south american too).  Definitely more livelier than US shows.
weird....I got 2 pit tickets for Buffalo and didn't order them til like 6pm est.

I was more speaking of the US dates, the Canada shows are places they haven't touched yet... I'm just not sure you ever need to hit Hershey Park.

Which places are those?

The one exception I can think of is George, WA being kinda close to Seattle, WA.

Vancouver is close as well, but it's Vancouver.

Buffalo and Toronto would be the next closest comparison from the last tour. This is a definite effort to hit markets they didn't get to last time for whatever reason (routing, scheduling, etc..)

I just hope they find a way to service some area's that they are going to be pretty far from like New England. Even if they manage to get to Hartford or Providence (over say Boston/Foxboro if need be)... I just struggle to think of what the venue could be outside of Gillete Stadium or Fenway Park. Pilferk could probably say if UConn's football facility would be a fit.

Beyonce and Paul McCartney played Hershey last summer with amazing attendance. I don't think Hershey is an expensive venue to book either. It's close to Philly, Baltimore, Harrisburg, and Wilmington. Not a far drive from NYC either.

I'm just saying that you are skipping Chicago, NYC, Boston, and LA which would pretty much guarantee a single night 45k+ seat sellout in any of the 4 locations, but are instead hitting Hershey Park's 30k seat stadium. I realize that may not be by choice do to schedule, routing, etc... We all heard how Axl wanted Stl this past summer, but just couldn't make it work. I just think in a perfect world hitting 4 of the largest markets in the country would probably make financial sense (and would more importantly make me happy).
