The big 3 are the big draw. But listing the other band members in the bottom row of stars would have been better. Publicity wise they're underappreciated.
For example, the group of people that I went to the Miami show with are somewhat more casual fans than I am. But Richard really stuck out to them and were really impressed by him.

Exactly. He has been in this band for the past 15 years (!) , he deserves some credit.
(meanwhile on insta. Apparently they forgot to tag him in some photos

I saw them in Toronto last summer and this show was 2x as good.
Axl was very talkative between songs. Let out a tidbit about the recording of Coma. He said that when he was doing the vocals for it Slash specifically came down to the studio to make sure he got the inflection right for when he says "GOD DAMMIT"
He also made a crack at Trump for his too little too late response to recent events.
After Yesterdays he said something like "well yesterday must have something for us or we wouldn't be here"
Slash looked like a little kid jumping around the stage. All his solo spots were spot on and the duels between him and Fortus brought the best out of each other.

Agree. There are a lot of photos, even by Del, that just show the 3. I get it-most people don't know who Richard or Frank are, but it reminds me of the "additional musicians" Matt and Gilby got. Axl must view them like Jon Bon Jovi views his long time bassist-they guy isn't in a lot of the band photos, ect..

I think the thing that is hard for people to do is to separate the current situation from GnR of 1985-1988 where they were a 'band' in the romantic sense, where they lived in a rehearsal space, did everything together, and were truely a 'band of brothers'
This is a company that produces and sells art. Like most companies you have your C-Level Executives (CEO, CFO, COO, etc...) and that is Axl, Duff, and Slash. They are in the press, they are the 'face of the organization'. Then there is the support engine (designers, manufacturing, middle management, etc...) and that is Dizzy, Richard, Frank, and Melissa. They help the company run, get paid well for it, but don't get the limelight.
Think about Apple. You know Steve Jobs, and maybe Steve Wozniack, but I'm pretty sure you can't name the 100's of people who are more directly responsible for the iPhone you might own. It's the same thing here.
No offense meant, because I think he is amazing (my favorite post slash guitarist and favorite non classic member) but Richard Fortus isn't putting 50k asses into seats.

This tour is all about those three. Like it or not, it's the way it is. It's what has sold tickets, and why for instance Frank can watch support bands from the crowd and not be hassled. It's not about respect or lack thereof- it's just the way it is. I'm sure the paychecks reflect that too!

It is funny, though, that Axl puts such an importance on loyalty (the whole reason Fortus and Ferrer are on this tour) and yet treats them like hired hands in return.

I'm not sure it's neccessarily him- they all get their chance during the show-but might be the marketing/merch side of things, which i guess is live nation. They truly don't give a fuck on any level about either fans artists or the music.
