oops....I meant 2003...being from Philly we just try to block out 2002 LOL...not trying to be smart mmmkay?

lol.  I'm sure Tommy wants to block out some of 2002 as well.  He's performing along with some other guys, so it should be a great show.  I'd love to have him sign my VGH cd.

Wish Tommy would come to Florida. He`s unknown enough where you can see him at a small venue, those types of shows are the best. No chance of catching GNR at a 500 seat venue.

He never comes anywhere near KY, whats up with that?

crying I'm also hoping Tommy will be able to come south...
The Hard Rock Hotel just opened a new Hotel/Casino 10 minutes from where I live - Seminole HRH at Hollywood, FL
Its going to include a larger venue, but right now they are set up to accommodate smaller club gigs.

Have a great time noonespecial, younggunner, mikeguiliana and anyone else lucky enough to catch one of these shows  beer

Wish a show could be arranged for Atlanta, Nashville, or Birmingham. I'd definetely make it to one of those dates for sure.

I think our hurricane season has scared all the good musicians from coming to Florida rant

We have a brand new Hard Rock Hotel in Tampa too  ok

Little update from the webmaster :

Still waiting on show info. The tour is being booked now, and likely
to start Jan 21st and roll for 2 weeks.  It'll be Tommy acoustic
with the same setup he did when he and Joe from ACS did Europe or
when him and Mike Gent from the Figgs played a few songs during the
set.

This time out though it's likely to be Dave Phillips who accompanies
Tommy on the 2 week tour. Dave used to be in Perfect and plays with
Frank Black in the Catholics. Stay tuned to see if that happens for
sure.

I'll let you know when I do.

Tommy's solo career would NOT be discussed if it wasn't for his GN'R involvement.  I think CD news is the most important thing that could come out of his mouth.

For now only the Fargo tickets are on sale (8 bucks at Ticketmaster). Let's see if the other dates are confirmed in the next few days.

These dates admin @ rumourboard mentioned haven't been confirmed yet although supposedly they have already been booked. Tommy will probably announce them all at once and as admin said he hasn't finished booking the tour!

One has to be careful not to be too early in announcing info.

The Spaceland CA gig has been pulled already, so remove that from your lists

Wow!  What a show! What guitars! What energy!  This was a cool show.  Richard Fortus was there...he is one skinny dude...had an awesome Gibson he was playing too.  I got ton o pics and will get a link to them later today...I'm wading through the pics now...Tommy was in a very good mood...crowd was a healthy size for a Wednesday.
Waiting to get bashed here, but I have procrastinated in picking up the Gorilla CD. I kind of did that on purpose so the tunes would hit me fresh and raw...needless to say, Santa better bring me that, or I'm kicking some reindeer ass!  Actually have a new found respect for Richard...those GNR bootleg DVDs just don't illustrate how extremely gifted this dude's fingers are...I was right in front of him...and was truly, truly impressed...he had some papers on the floor in front of him next to his wah pedal and they appeared to have music notes written on them...you know A, C, D--which I thought was kind of cute. Tommy came out and did a couple of acoustic numbers first and then he was joined by the band, and that's when the place started smmmokin'--For me, the acoustic stuff was a bit too slow and light, but I do not  mean to imply that it was bad. When you see the pics of Richard's guitar you'll understand why I was jumping for them to plug in, trust me...Does anyone know who the two black dudes are (bass player and drummer)-they were really hot! Everyone was having a good time. I was hoping Tommy would have done some intros but he didn't. People were buying him drinks (because he asked for them) but he wasn't really downing them with any great speed.  He did talk a little about blue and red states, which is kind of funny...regardless of what the media says, it seems people are a bit bummed out about those election results...or at the very least they are able to see the humor in it (DOH!) Everyone had tattoos...I tried to get a shot of this really cool one (you'll see it) on Richard Fortus's inner, left forearm...but he was hopping around a lot. He's got really nice fingers. Tommy wore black and changed guitars about 3 or 4 times. Crowd was very responsive...no one yelled out for any GNR which is a good thing...I mean, you just have wait for that dontcha? Very cool night...will do my best to get a page created in dreamweaver and throw those puppies up there...Thanks for coming to Philly...seeing Richard was a real surprise...I thought Jessie Mailen (sp?) was going to back him...the cool thing (if you're a glass is half full kind of person) is that I've seen 3 members of GNR (one, now a former member) and I'm from a GNR no show state...ha, gotta love it!!!!! No harm intended with that last statement, I just think it's really cool ok
