On a serious note, I have an 18 year old classmate and she and her boyfriend are swingers. they have an open relationship to the max and its really interesting hearing her talk about it.

An ex girlfriend and I tried it a few years ago but it didn't end well. We only done it the once but we didn't like each other too much for the next 6 months then we split.

I was kind of pissed about it back then but now we both have a bit of a giggle abouit it.

I believe that what ever people choose to do is completely up to them, but I also believe that what ever you choose it should be kept personal, kissing and telling, I am one who doesn't want to know what is going on behind closed doors, unless they are my own. Swinger is not necessarily synonymous with whoring around. If a couple has been together and are comfortable adding a third, watching, or whatever, who cares? Do whatever floats your boat.

hm...I guess you have to wonder about the quality of your 'relationship' when it's an open relationship.  I think a possible danger of swinging is the 'relationship' becoming all about sex and if sex is all ya got there isn't much keeping you together.

I personally think people should fuck as many people as you can without any regard for other people's opinions. (I can't stand the double standard that guys have to be studs and girls have to be practically chaste) That's not to say 'disregard the consequences' or 'disregard your personal safety or the safety of another' (do I have to add in 'always use a condom'?), and I'm definitely not saying 'cheat on your partner'!! 

'sex' is taken way too seriously, I think.  Making love isn't taken nearly seriously enough and I think there are HEAPS of people out there who are having sex with their partner when they should be making love and vice versa.


Heh, imo if a guy isn't good in bed then there's no way it's anything beyond a regretable, forgettable one-night-stand.  Hence the multiple partners.
