OK, he's downloaded some punk stuff off you before but from his post it looked to me like he didn't like punk. And i wasn't sticking up for the guy i was just saying that all your posts seem to have some form of abuse somewhere in them.
He brought up punk in his first post. he mentioned crossover and grind in his second post. It's not hard to grasp.

If length equates epic, then..
Devil Doll - The Sacrilege of Fatal Arms
74:16
The Flower Kings - Garden of Dreams
59:57
That's not epic, that's a lenght to sleep into

You've obviously never heard The Sacrilege of Fatal Arms.. Such art will grasp you so powerfully, that sleep is the last thing on your mind.

I've have nothing against it, I haven't even listened to it, It's just that i don't find such large songs enjoyable!!!. even operas have shorter cuts.

I have this one... It's split into 7 parts.
I really like the instrumental "When The Water Breaks" (17 minutes) by the Liquid Tension Experiment....
and NoFx's "The Decline" (18 minutes) is fucking great, no matter what Chris Misfit says.

You should check out part IV of 'A Pleasant Shade of Gray' by Fates Warning, the part at the beginning (and at the end) of When the Water Breaks is very similar to that song from 2 min 40 sec on.

Here's a request: I would love to hear an epic punk song. Something very political or inflammatory, over 10 minutes long. I know a punk song is considered very long after 5 minutes, but there has to be some punk band that has played a super long song. Lame punk bands whose songs all sound the same do not count.
Dude go listen to the NOFX ep. The Declined.
19 Minutes non-stop, it's the best thing i've ever heard.

I'm right.
The only people who like NoFX, are fat people, fat spotty people, who dress punk, coz they look like shit anyway.

Metallica's "Mercyful Fate" medley off the Garage, Inc. album clocks in at over 11 minutes.
"...And Justice For All" (the song) could fit into this category.
I don't own many songs that could be constituted as 'epic'.

Dream Theater's A Change of Seasons is over 23 minutes, I don't know the exact length.
Also DT'S Metropolis II: Scenes From a Memory, which is a concept album, almost 80 minutes long.
