Who?

« on: April 08, 2004, 04:53:16 PM »

For a long time ive owned this on video and always said how it's the best GN'R live performance ever, now the set liston my tape is;

It's So Easy
Mr. Brownstone
Out Ta Get Me
Sweet Child O' Mine
My Michelle
Knockin' On Heaven's Door
Welcome To The Jungle
Nightrain
Paradise City
Rocket Queen

Recently though i decided to download the show off the net as mp3's to put onto CD and when i downloaded it the tracklisting was;

It's So Easy
Mr. Brownstone
Out Ta Get Me
Sweet Child O' Mine
My Michelle
Knockin' On Heaven's Door
Welcome To The Jungle
Nightrain
Paradise City
Mama Kin
Rocket Queen
Whole Lotta Rosie
Shadow Of Your Love
Don't Cry
Goodnight Tonight

Now i was wondering is the thing i downloaded the unedited, actual performance or has someone shoved in some songs from othe live gigs, what was the exact setlist at the Ritz that night, not for TV but actually for people there

They did several shows at the Ritz, i think that tracklist is all the songs that were played in total between the two dates.

Right, the other songs came from the January 18, 1986 Ritz show.  I have that show on CD.

Hey Stoned, where did you find the MP3s?  I've been looking for them forever...I too want to burn it to a CD...all I have is a crappy old 90 minute tape and the video for Paradise City from MTV from forever ago.  Was it on this mythical hub that I can never get to work?  If you can let me know that would be really awesome, thanks!!

I'm downloading the whole show off WinMX.

However, there's hardly anyone online who has it, and its just over 600MB in size  Grin

Thanks Coma.  Don't you love it when people are soooo sure?   Tongue  Damn, I have the 1986 ritz show on CD, it's well known as a bootleg DVD exists, yet I still get debated.

The 86 show is The ROXY in Hollywood not The RITZ in NYC.

GNR played The RITZ 3 times

10.23.87
02.02.88
05.16.91

Bah, damn it, I always get the damn Roxy and Ritz confused.  Angry  Angry  Sorry about that.

But the songs that the initial poster mentioned are from the Roxy show.
