I heard him say: Tomorrow morning, Scott Weiland and the guys from Guns N' Roses are gonna be here. Velvet Revolver in the studio, live on the Kevin & Bean show.

Please somebody record it!  Jizzo?  Anyone?

I suppose I should go check the VR board.

p.s.  This has got to be the first time I have ever heard KROQ mention the name Guns N' Roses...

I convinced someone to turn on the radio.

They are playing Slither live.  Weiland sounds really good.  I have to say, I am impressed.  I didnt realize he had such a clear live voice.

My co-workers are liking the song.

They started playing Interstate Love Song (acoustic, I mean).

Anyway, we had to turn off the radio.  Angry Angry

All I heard was Scott saying that they do check out the VR message boards and they know that fans want them to play some GNR/STP songs.

He also said that AFD was really important to him - it was his Nevermind the Bollocks.  And then Duff joked that Core was really important to him - he used to chop drugs on it.

No doubt, GNR never could crack KROQ..

It's good to see VR getting some run on the USA's most influential modern rock station.

Looks as though Weiland's inclusion in the band is paying dividends already.  A safe bet would say a guest spot on KROQ would not be happening if a Bach type persona got the gig..

aaaaarrggghhhh!!!

Is it so wrong to have the radio playing in a lab?   rant

I lost the battle.  You will not believe what they played.

Scott sang I Used to Love Her.   I only heard the ending, but I'm sure it was the song.

I really hope the poster on the VR board has recorded this.  They sounded great.

Seriously, how cool is it that they did I Used to Love Her live on the radio!

I presume everyone has seen the Fox Late Night video of GNR playing it live?

I wasn't expecting to be shocked to be like that - now this is the true Guns N' Roses spirit!!

I cant wait to see/hear what surprises they have in store for us!

I'm also really happy to see Slash get some long overdue respect.

Slither sounded better acoustic.  Does anyone have more details on the actual interview?

What do you want to know.

Slither was cool acoustic, but it wasn't the same without the solo.

I don't know.  Did they talk a lot?  Did the band sound awake that early in the morning?
