Here's what I'm looking forward to in 2005:

Mastodon @ the Birmingham Academy 2. Its not often you get to see a band as good as that in such a small venue.
Megadeth tour
RAMMSTEIN live at Brixton Academy. FIIIIIIIRRRRRRRE  smoking
JUDAS PRIEST album and tour
Iron Maiden Tour

NIN album and tour (I hope)
Monsters of Rock @ Donnington (unlikely but apparently Classic Rock are considering it)
New Star Wars film.
ACDC album

Shit it is going to be a good year!

My 2005

Nine Inch Nails' new album.
System Of A Down's new album (hopefully).
Metallica's latest offering that will start being recorded in February.

I give it two months until it's in the bargain basket (Metallica's latest St. Crap that is)

Rob Trujillo said they are recording in February 2005.  Hopefully Lars would have taken a hint and let Kirk have his solos this time and it should be interesting as this is Rob's first studio recording with Metallica.

Yeah despite hating the last album i still have the upmost respect for the amazing albums they did in the 1980's and every time they release an album for the rest of their career i guess i will be excited, most probably in the hope it will be good, i know they are capable so here's to hoping....

As for other stuff in 2005
Nine Inch Nails Album And Tour
Guns N' Roses Chinese Democracy
Monster Magnet coming back to Europe
Skid Row working on a new album and touring over here again
Download Festival
SOiL's new frontman AJ Cavalier being as good as Ryan McCombs
Gilby Clarke touring in the UK...maybe
M?tley Cr?e tour and 'new' album
Poison releasing something new
Brides of Destruction continuing without Nikki Sixx
Hurricane Party releasing a full length album
The list is endless the question is what in 2005 on my list will happen....and whether it lives up to expectations..

Nah. U2 will be th biggest band. Their new album already sold  6 million copies worldwide, in like 4 weeks. Their upcoming tour starts in march and I bet it will be even bigger than Elevation Tour. I?m hoping for something like ZOO TV, it would be great!  ok
