Gimme some fuckin' Democracy

« on: June 03, 2005, 05:44:44 AM »

I dont know how people just dowload songs/albums and be happy with it, everything counts for me.
When i buy an album, to me what ever the mood is set on an album cover effects the music when i hear it.
Do you guys ever think about that stuff?? i like being impressed with art work on covers, and to me is a part of the album just as much as the music!! beer  but when i have a burnt copy, it just feels so usless to me no

how do you's feel about it??

I kinda feel the same, i always like to have the booklet, look inside see how well it's been done, have the great CD generally with artwork on it's just better that way, not too keen on copies but im also in finicial problems always am so i generally download first but when i have the money buy later.  Generally now i only buy albums for bands i really, really care about the rest i download and decide whether it's worth buying or not but yeah copies do suck.

Yeah, I also agree.  Usually when I burn a CD I wind up buying it shortly thereafter if I like it.

Covers and booklets are essential to an album, I?ve seen burnt cds with the covers in black and white and it just sucks...it loses 99% of the album?s meaning and feel. Yes, when you see the cover you, at least I do, immediately get an idea of what the album?s gonna be like.

you cant beat the feeling of buying a CD. If i do DL something and like it, i'll more than likely buy it
these days most of music listening is done on my Ipod or in the car so it's important i can rip CDs for this purpose

I like getting the originals, then i copy them and keep the copy in my car. AFD has got one of the coolest covers ever! Banned one and the skulls cross.
