i love this song its my second fav GnR song behind DDM. i think it should have been a single. i like it more than their other ballads. does duff sing some of the lines in this song like when they did it live on the tokyo dvd? it sounds like duff

Duff is the lead vocalist in this song. Axl only sings the "How could....." lines.

I always thought that song was underrated also. Would've been a great single/video. When you consider the fact that they milked these 2 albums all the way into late 1993, its surprising that they didn't finish the milking with 'So Fine'.

i know, So Fine is a ballad n' a ahalf, i love it.

I wonder if Duff wrote that before or after Johnny Thunders died Huh

I have to admit, I'm shocked to read so many positive things about this song.  I always thought it was a horrible, pathetic embarassment.  I thought it surely made it on the album to keep Duff happy or in exchange for his agreement about something else. 

I guess everbody's tastes are different, but I don't see one redeeming quality about the song, from the silly lyrics to the mediocre singing.

What makes this song silly? If youre referring to cheesy lyrics, you should be discussing Dont cry instead of So Fine. I think its a really heartfelt song. One of the highlights of UYI 2.
