I believe I previously said how an era seems to get a full nostalgic "comeback" after about 25 years.

Right now we seem to be on the cusp of the 70's retro style slowly giving way to the 80's - though it's far from complete (shades of the late 90's is STILL holding on for its life in almost 2006!).

Anyway, this got me thinking about every era of "comebacks" in recent history. The following seems to be correct in general.

50's comeback -- 1979-1986
60's comeback -- 1987-1993
70's comeback -- 1994-2004
80's comeback -- 2005+ (predicted end 2013-16?)

Anyone agree or disagree. Comments?

i think it will be more like a mix between all.

but in a way, as the magazines makes the trends they do have to come up with something clearly new, to justify girls shopping.
