You have one of the most vivid imaginations MCT. I never would have thought of something like that.

Actually when you really look closely, all the apostles look either really keen on smelling it, or scared as fuck...

See the one way over on the left with his hands up? He's probably going "Hey! It wasn't me! Dont' fart in my face!!" to the guy bending over next to him... who is talking to the (fe)male next to Jesus... probably asking "What's it smell like?" and (s)he's saying in return "REEALLY BAD!!". The guy next to the (fe)male looks rather annoyed at having that guy bending over between them and he's probably saying "You shut up! You're sick you are!"

See!! You can really tell a story from it! rofl

Well she's kind of my friend so I would suspect so, yes.

It's just that she has a sense of humor that can be a little hard to pick up on at times.

^^ The guy at the counter looks like Jim Morrison!  Smiley  I like it, it's Dali-esque.

It's Jim Morrison, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix and Kurt Cobain. The painting is titled "Forever 27", because they all passed away at 27 or at least around that age. I think Janis and Kurt were both 27 when they died.? Morrison and Hendrix were both 28.

Also, the way everyone is angled at the table forms an M shape, which is supposedly in referrence to Mary Magdalene.

It's very interesting.

i am not religious but im certainly fascinated with religious imagery, it has a mythical property about it...the painting is a masterpiece but people have a tendency to see shapes and meaning where meaning doesnt exist...take the M you mentioned...jesus and some disciples may be shaped like an M but i can see over 50 M's in the walls and the ceiling...or do you think that is also deliberate?

Possibly. I think back then if people had different opinions on religion or politics that deviated from the normal census, there would've been harsh consequences. So I think people found a way to express their own opinions and beliefs through hidden or encoded art, music and literature. It's all in theory. But there may be an element of truth to it.
