Helloween Discography
Walls of Jericho
- 7/10 great begining of Power Motel and some simphonic stuff, songs like Victim of Faith and Judas are classics, also those years the singer was Kai Hansen.
Keeper of the seven keys part I
- 10/10 one of their greatest albums, the songs Future world, Im alive and Halloween are classics This album it's Kike debut as a singer.
Keeper of the seven keys part II
- 9/10 it's a great album too but not as their predecesor, even though it contains their greats hit, I want out, also have a great comercial song like Dr. Stein.
Pink bubles go ape
- 7/10 It's a great album but very different from their early records, Songs like mankind and number one are songs that makes you understand that Michael Weikath (guitar player) its a beatle fan.
Chameleon
- 5/10 I would say that they tried to find new sounds and their attemp was very week
Master of the rings
- 8/10 Fantastic comeback this album it's a debut for Andi Deris as lead vocal, songs like sole survivor and still we go remarks that they were back to their roots of speed riffs and speed double guitar solos.
Time of the oath
- 8/10 Another great album songs like Time of the oath, Power and Before the war are a proof that they continue doing the speed songs as Master album.
Better than Raw
- 10/10 one of my personal fave and another fantastic album yet it's very underrated, songs like I can, A game we shouldn't play and Push makes a new direction of Helloween's music to it's best.
The dark ride
- 9/10 Another fantastic album the production was made by Roy Z which has colaborated with Judas Priest, Bruce Dickinson among others making this album well listening and a great mix of Heavy dark metal. A must for everyone should be The departed (sun it's going down), the dark ride, Mr torture, makes well mixed of synth and double guitar speed solos.
Rabbits don't come easy
- 6/10 I wouldn't say it's a must to hear but there are some great songs in this album yet the productions doesn't help too much, even though they make a Queen cover it has some bad elements that doesn't make this album progress. This album debut Sacha Gestner as a guitar player.
Keeper of the seven keys part III (The Legacy)
- Haven't heard it yet, but I've heard the single Mrs. God which makes a good impression even though helloween lovers claim it's too comercial, the song King for a 100o years brings back the long songs that was part of the keeper albums.

The Cure
Three Imaginary Boys (4/10)
It has a few decent songs, but the production is terrible and it sounds nothing like The Cure that would follow.
Boys Don't Cry (5/10)
This is just the American edition of Three Imaginary Boys with a few extra songs. These Extra songs are awesome, but still can't save the album.
Seventeen Seconds (7/10)
This CD is really short with only 7 non-instrumental songs. I love it. The production is so minimal, and everything is so quiet. Really eerie sounding. Songs like Play For Today and M are some of my favorite Cure songs ever.
Faith (8/10)
I absolutely love this CD. It has a unique production sound that some love and others hate. Lots and lots of reverb that makes everything sound really dreamy. Doubt is probably one of the worst Cure songs though.
Pornography (9/10)
This is probably the most hopelessly depressing CD I've ever heard. The drums in every song are totally repetative which almost adds to the feeling of hopelessness. I love every song on this CD. It amazes me how a CD of non-stop anguish can be so enjoyable. The sound is really muddy on this CD though
Japanese Whispers (6/10)
This CD is a compilation of 3 vinyl singles and their B sides that were released in 1983. This Robert Smith doing New Order type Synth Pop. There was no Cure band at this time, and it shows. Overall its not a bad CD at all, but just not great.
The Top (5/10)
This CD is just weird. Robert said that the entire CD was made on Magic Mushrooms... it shows. The CD has no flow at all and some songs leave a lot to be desired. But with that said, songs like Piggy In The Mirror and The Caterpillar are great. This is pretty much a Robert Smith solo CD where all the songs were recorded part by part and thrown together later. Strange way to go about things, but interesting all the same.
The Head On The Door (9/10)
The Cure go back to being a band, this time with the best lineup ever. There's not one bad song on this CD. It has a great flow with lots of poppy sounding songs while still maintaining that great Cure sound. What I love about this CD is that it's not living up to any previous expectations. None of the songs sound forced. One of my favorite CDs ever.
Kiss Me Kiss Me Kiss Me (7/10)
This was the Cure's breakout CD in America. It was a double record when it came out with 18 songs. The CD only has 17 songs, but this is probably the biggest problem with the album. It has a lot of filler. It has some GREAT songs... actually, a LOT of great songs. But they're surrounded by a few songs that bring the album down as a whole. The great songs are truly great though... Just Like Heaven, IF Only Tonight We Could Sleep, The Kiss... mmmm
Disintigration (10/10)
I've always known this was called The Cure's masterpiece, but it took a while for it to grow on my as a whole. The songs are all long with only 2 coming under 5 minutes, and most songs have a 2 minute intro or so before the singing comes in, but that only makes things cool. This CD really is amazing. Great keyboard work, perfect drumming and guitar riffs that are more important in the songs than singing. There's nothing bad to say about this album.
Wish (8/10)
Another really great CD. It seems like this album is two CDs pulling at each other though. There are a few songs that sound like they came straight from Disintigration with lush keyboard arrangements, while the rest of the CD is completely guitar driven. I love the sound of this CD though, its so overproduced, but in a good way. This was a really good follow up to Disintigration, and actually outsold it. This was The Cure at their biggest.
Wild Mood Swings (5/10)
Here's where The Cure lost it. A 4 year break between this CD and the last one, and a LOT had changed. The face of music was totally different by 1996, the lineup of The Cure was different (no more Porl or Boris) and this CD shows a band with no sense of belonging or direction. Robert Smith said this is one of his favorite Cure records, but I just can't find anything to explain this. There are some really good songs like Want, Mint Car and Jupiter Crash, but too many other bad songs. Some songs are just plain horrible like Round and Round and Round.
Bloodflowers (8/10)
This album sees The Cure coming back to form a bit. It was made with the idea this would be the last Cure CD, and it shows. Its an album based around mourning/loss with some really introspective lyrics. There is a lot of great musical arrangements here, and the songs are well developed. My only problem with the CD is that its trying too hard to maintain a single sound (ie: Disintigration) This was a problem that started on Wild Mood Swings in my mind, songs began to sound forced to sound like older songs. With that aside, this is definitely one of the Cure's best CDs.
The Cure (7/10)
This is a really rocking CD. Its also the first time The Cure hired a proper producer. The producer happened to be Ross Robinson (Limp Bizkit... Slipknot...) and to me, this is the biggest problem with the CD. The songs were recorded live in the studio, which to me, makes the CD feel rather empty. When a band is known for their layered sound, 2 guitars + bass and drums don't really keep interest. But! There are some really great songs here, and this CD made the public start caring about The Cure again. The End Of The World is easily one of my favorite Cure songs.

U2
(There are a few U2 albums I don?t own but I own majority so I?m gonna do them).
Don?t own Boy
Don?t own October
War
I?m not the biggest fan of very early U2 and this album, while o.k in parts, lacks that special something.
Highlights: Sunday Bloody Sunday, ?40?.
Rating: 1/5
The Unforgettable Fire
The first really good U2 album. It has some of their very best songs on it, one of which was the song that broke them wide open.
Highlights: Bad, Pride (In The Name Of Love).
Rating: 3/5
The Joshua Tree
The first brilliant U2 album and the most famous. Its first three tracks were all brilliant singles, two of which got to the top of the U.S charts.
Highlights: I Still Haven?t Found What I?m Looking For, With Or Without You, Bullet The Blue Sky, Where The Streets Have No Name.
Rating: 5/5
Rattle And Hum
This was both a live album and a studio album. It is a great album and it contains the most underrated U2 song ever, Angel Of Harlem.
Highlights: Angle Of Harlem, Desire.
Rating: 4/5
Achtung Baby
Known as U2?s second masterpiece and I agree to an extent. I don?t think it?s quite as good as The Joshua Tree but it does have one of the greatest album titles?ever! As well as U2?s very best song.
Highlights: One, Mysterious Ways.
Rating: 4.5/5
Zooropa
This album, while not quite as good as the last two full studio albums, is still a nice collection of songs that is quite misunderstood. It does have as many lower points as it does higher points though IMO.
Highlights: Stay (Faraway So Close), Daddy?s Gonna Pay For Your Crashed Car.
Rating: 2/5
Don?t Own Melon
Pop
Another misunderstood album, but an album which I think is much better the Zooropa. Discotheque has to be one of the best 90?s era U2 songs.
Highlights: Discotheque, Staring At The Sun, Mofo
Rating: 3/5
All That You Can?t Leave Behind
The best U2 album since The Joshua Tree. Also the album that brought U2 to a new audience.
Highlights: Beautiful Day, Elevation, Stuck In A Moment You Can?t Get Out Of.
Rating: 5/5
How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb
After waiting 4 years for a new U2 album, they released this. And it was worth the wait. A fantastic album and followed with their biggest and best tour.
Highlights: Vertigo, City Of Blinding Lights, Love And Peace Or Else, Sometimes You Can?t Make It On Your Own.
Rating: 5/5

I'll do
DEATH
.
Scream Bloody Gore- 8/10. This album was unbelievably heavy for its time. Chuck's voice is at its deepest, the production is raw, and Death is showing the world how death metal should sound! Since it has so many songs off of old demos, some of them aren't as good as others. Overall, it's a great start to a great band.
Leprosy- 10/10. This album came out about the same time as ...And Justice For All, and it shows some real heaviness! There are no wimpy ballads or instrumentals here. It's just all out brutality, which a level of technical skill way ahead of most death metal bands at the time. Every song here is a killer.
Spiritual Healing- 7/10. This is underrated, but it has its share of problems. For one thing, the production is mediocre, and Chuck's voice is beginning to lose its edge. It's also overly technical at times. However, Leprosy simply couldn't be topped, and SH is decent in its own right.
Human- 9/10. This loses a point for its shortness, but every moment of this album is perfect. It's a landmark album for death metal, and one of the most popular death metal albums ever. Essential.
Individual Thought Patterns- 6/10. Ouch. Many songs here are just stale, and the progressive style of Death isn't polished much. The vocals just don't have much power behind them at this point. Like Spiritual Healing, it's an ok album by itself, but it just couldn't top its amazing predecessor.
Symbolic- 8/10. A new vocal style and musical style for Death emerges! This is progressive death metal at its finest. It has some good complex songs, as well as simple fun like Crystal Mountain. This album is very unlike the earlier ones, so its usually either loved or hated, much like the next album.
The Sound of Perseverance- 9/10. This is even more progressive than Symbolic, and very hard to get in to. The musicianship is very advanced, and there are few simple moments in this album, very unlike early Death material. The only dud to me is To Forgive Is To Suffer, but all other songs are as heavy as ever. It also has a Judas Priest cover, Painkiller, one of the best covers ever! If you enjoy complex, progressive heavy metal, this is a good album for you!

It's a very good reacord in fact I do believe is better than Rabbits it's predecesor, songs like Pleasure Drone and The invisible man prove that Sacha was a great change in the lineup, Andi still got to work on his lyrics
, and weiki is supreme even though Born on judgement day isn't the best of him prove that he's always looking for something fresh to give us, and additional to these songs I'd say that King for a 1000 years is good and listeneable, so as Give it up and the duet with Candice Night in the song Light the universe all great song, I'd give it 8/10

If you like later Death, maybe you would like Coroner, Watchtower, Sadus, and other technical thrash bands. They remind me of Death sometimes musically, even if not vocally. But man, Sadus has turned into a mallcore band recently. Out For Blood might as well be a Slipknot album.
By the way, Spiritual Healing is now 9/10 for me now. I got used to the tech elements and the weaker vocals. Scream Bloody Gore, on the other hand, is only 7/10 now because I now find I like some of the old demo versions more.

Well I'll do Bruce Dickinson's
Tattoed Millionare
- 8/10 Great album there are songs that still sounded like Iron Maiden I think mostly cause Janick play on that album, but it also sound very hard rock in songs like
zulu lulu
and
Lickin the guns
, a very 80 rock ballad in
gypsy road
and very AC/DC sound on
Hell on wells
, prove that Dickinson wanted to get away from Iron Maiden
Balls to Picasso
- 10/10 This album is classic and of the great in BD discography, songs like Tears of the dragon and 1000 points of light are now classics on BD concerts, also the sound is quite different on his Maiden years, this is first colaboration with Roy Z.
Bruce Dickinson - Skunkworks
- 7/10 This is a very alternative record yet its not bad songs like back from the edge and Inertia prove that he was at that time listening to Garbage, Smashin pumking and Scycrapers (I heard that in an Interview
)
Accident of Birth
- 10/10 One of my fave, this album have the appear of Adrian Smith, and have such classics like
the road to hell
and
Man of sorrows
I like also
arc of space
This album stayed for more than 3 months in my CD player
Chemical Wedding
- 7/10 Another BD album with elements of Heavy Metal more into the Maiden scenario yet sounded less alternative than its predecesor
the tower
and
jerusalem
are a must in this album.
Tyranny Of Souls
- 9/10 Another approach on a AOB level very alternative and very different from Maiden style,
soul intruders
have an outstanding beginning riff and
navigate the seas of sun
is in the line of classic ballads of man of sorrows and tear of the dragon
Hope you like it

Well I've heard the New Album and is freaking great, I must say is pretty high up there with United Abominations by MEgadeth.
Gambling with the devil
.- The intro is just a game for pumpkinheads so we can win a trip to any part of the world with the band.
Kill it
is a breathtaking song pretty fast with furious vocals a great start for the album, songs like
FInal Fortune
or
Heaven tells no lies
made by Markus (bass player), let us believe that his work is always on top of the best of Helloween, I might say those 2 are the best of the album, along with Dreambound, though it is written by Michael Weikath and the music by Sascha this is one piece of strong song. And is not complete a Helloween album with a happy tune like Can Do it by no other than Weiki which I always love his tunes. Overall this album deserve to be rank by a 9/10 song. If you can skip
As long as I fall

THE BEATLES
Everything before Rubber Soul is mainly fluffy pop so I'm not gonna bother.
Rubber Soul 7/10
Slowly ascending from the slick pop productions. Not fully developed, but a good taste of what's to come.
Revolver 9/10
The band is finally mature. All the songs are great, but there is still a stain of old so it doesn't deserve top score.
Seargent Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band 10/10
Now we're talking. From the immensely enjoyable all over the place title track to the indescribable beautiful 'A Day In The Life' this is an album packed with gems from start to finish. Undoubtedly one of the most important albums of our time.
Magical Mystery Tour 10/10
Not quite as refreshing as SPLHCB, but on the other hand more refined.
White Album 10/10
Take all that the Beatles are, separate it in four, put it back together and you have the White Album. 30 tracks, 30 styles of music. It's real messy, but somehow that is what makes it cohesive.
Abbey Road 10/10
Now they're clearly getting comfortable with their craft. Beautiful, rockin', balanced and yet again innovative. Not their most exciting album, but clearly the most perfect one.
Let It Be 9/10
Bunch of good songs, but never captures the feeling from their former works. Like with Abbey Road you can hear it's coming to an end.

Black Sabbath (Ozzy era) One of my favorites bands ever!
Black Sabbath 10/10 (but its too short) This is album gave birth to Heavy music. enough said.
Paranoid 10/10 Perfect album! This could easily be a concept album. Every song suits the album's title. Geezer shines here!
Master of reality 10/10 . Led zeppelin released Zeppelin IV the same year Sabbath released Master of Reality, While Zeppelin wrote about a stairway to heaven, Sabbath was singing about the unpromised future caused by wars for the next generation in songs like in Children of the Grave. A song like this could be sung now and wouldnt feel outdated.
Volume 4 10/10 The most underrated album ever! You can make 3 songs out of each song on this album, Its incredible these guys talent.
Under The Sun / Every Day Comes & Goes is the BEST example of a progresive HEAVY metal song. Bill's drumming is just unbelievable, is as Heavy as Tony's Riffs.
Sabbath Bloody Sabbath 9.5/10 Close to perfect The song "Who are you?" is the reason for the -0.5 lol Still I like the song, but I dont think it suits the album.
Sabotage 10/10 Master piece! This album has everything! Is the most "honest" album, meaning you can feel what you listen. Ozzy's singing as his BEST! songs that prove my stament: hole in the sky, sympton of the universe, the writ ...shit!, you can hear he is pissed off about his manager.
I can talk and worship this album for days, so dont get me started
Technical Ecstasy 8/10 Its a great album but shadowed by Sabotage's excellence. I dont know if its me , but i think this album could have had better lyrics, musically is brilliant.
Never say die! 7/10 A "Rock" album by Black Sabbath, trumpets and Black Sabbath dont go well together, it wasnt a good idea, sounds a little like Thin Lizzy to me, or Thin Lizzy sounds like this Sabbath album, anyway is still cool tho but not their best effort.
(I think, Ozzy wasnt even thrilled with the final product)
peace
