the balls do seem ridiculously light tho. it will favour long-distance screamers but it makes the game feel like your playing FIFA or Pro Ev. unauthentic and hollow.

Yeah, I agree, there is something unsettling about them... They reallly do look like volleyballs. But that's probably that I've got it in my head that they're those light weight things, I guess I'll get used to it.... For crap sakes WE WON!!!!! Can you imagine if you progressed? Boy. I think Italia or Brasil will win the world cup. Home team usually does well in the World Cup so you can't count out germany even though i don't think they will get further than the Quarter finals.

Germany impressed me a bit with their offensive skills today. they were horrible in defense though. I do admit, I was cheering for Costa Rica. never liked the Germans style of playing but they have gotten more entertaining to watch for sure. |

I think as Jim said we can progressed and make a good world cup, but on the other hand even if pass to the second round I think we have to play against England and that would be very difficult i think more than Germany.
England just won 1 against 0 i think it was very difficult to England to win

That was an absolute fucking disgrace.
Eriksson has had 5 years to sort this out...he still can't make any decent fucking substitutions!
Owen was pretty poor but after he went off we had no-one to aim for, leaving poor old Crouchy up front trying to do everything on his own. Then bringing on Owen-Fucking-Hargreaves when Joe Cole was having a great game.
He took Walcott to the finals yet he won't even play him so we only have 3 strikers. We needed Jermain Defoe or Darren Bent (of course I would say Bent, but still, top english goalscorer in prem).
If we play those negative tactics against even Trinidad and Tobago, we have every chance of losing.
