Just imagine Axl in say a black smart shirt, jeans and some black shoes and you have a perfect, 40 something frontman IMO.


He isn't 25 anymore. Pushing envelopes should'nt be a concern of his.

He looks pale because hes a Ginger, Gingers skin doesnt tend to like the sun much as they just burn and go red.

Well actually that appearance will be seen way more than 50k people, thru photos. so he should've dressed "correctly", which he probably did (ofcourse in hes own opinion)
I still think hes new look is lackin some true charisma, just look at Weiland, McKagan and Slash. I really can't see what hes trying to be.

Well all i can say is he looks great and im not surprised to hear it was a korn launch party lets just hope this is the beginning of things to come i wonder if he did this for his fans just to let us know hes still around rock on 2006

As soon as I signed on to the site and saw the Axl pics, I knew a thread about it would be huge.  I was being sarcastic with my g/f and said "watch, there's gonna be like 80 posts in the thread."  There's about 130!  Amazing how much conversation comes across when an Axl update it made. 

As far as how he's lookin, I did notice the eyebrows are back, and to me looks like he lost some weight.  I just don't like seeing pics of Axl Rose with Good Charlotte and Korn, but oh well.  ok

On topic, he looks ok in the pics, health-wise and all, image ain't really down my street, but hey whatever turns him on i guess, album first, looking good later Tongue

Damn... guys those pictures.. took me by surprise... Im shocked...  I wouldnt have expected seen Axl Rose hunging out with Korn. Specially when Korn is no longer an important band or at least a mainstream band...  I liked to have seen Axl again, but it would have been cooler to have seen him with important guys like he is...

He doesn't look terrible... I just wish he'd come up with his own distinctive look... I was in to his look in '01 when he had the straight very red hair, clean-shaven, and the chinese themed clothing, track pants etc (i.e. Vegas '01 and Rio). All he had to do was drop 10 lbs. and he was set to go... not sure what happened since '01 (no eyebrows, corn rows, huge sports jerseys etc.)... I guess he's a HUGE sports fan now and into rap.

Anyway... sometimes pictures can be very deceiving... if he ever tours again (and dons the bandana, etc.) we'll get some shots that will at least somewhat remind us of the early 90's...

And, as an Islanders fan.... sorry Axl.... DITCH THE MAPLE LEAFS JERSEY!! ok

BUT- whoever said at the end of the day it's all about the music... is absolutely right... Axl is instantly cooler than any other person in those pictures just by virtue of the masterpieces he's written or been a part of compared to the crap anyone else in those shots has generated.
