Wow. I'm almost speechless. A 12 page thread about Axl being at the Oscars and he wasn't even there. It must be a slow night, because a few respected posters are in this thread, and one of those actually created the thread. If he is at one of those parties, why not wait until a picture surfaces or someone mentions him saying something? This is ridiculous.

Ummm, you do realize that Elton John's afterparty begins a few hours after the end of the show? There is a formal dinner and then the celebs migrate to the different parties.

As some were jumping the gun about Axl attending the ceremony, which I warned against, others are bailing too early on his attendence of the afterparties.

This thread began b/c Ryan Seacrest mentioned that Axl would attend the Elton John afterparty. As far as I know, it has not begun yet.

Eh this thread entertained me as the most boring awards program since last year's Oscars was on. No Axl.. Never even thought for a second he would be showned. Ah well.. jsut another boring Sunday without the Sopranos. That ends soon tho.

I'm not insulting you for creating the thread. Obviously, you're intentions were good. You heard he was gonna be at one of those parties, so you posted it. What I am talking about is the meaningless posts that is 90% of the thread. When I got online tonight, I seen this huge axl oscar thread. I thought he might have been there, or like you said, showed up with celebrities at a party. Then I start actually reading the thread, and it is clear as day nothing has happened. There's still time of course, but if people have nothing to add to the topic, then why keep posting and turn something into a giant thread?
