This simply cannot be true.
If Slash and Duff were in the band, it would have been announced with the tour dates.
Despite my personal excitement for the new band, tickets would be hotter than a pistol if it was a mini reunion of sorts.
I want the new band to show it's stuff, and promote CD. We all know Slash and Duff had nothing to do with the writing and recording of CD. I would see Izzy touring with the band before Slash or Duff.

It is awfully strange since Forus, the rhythm guitar player, is seemingly the only one who has confirmed he will be at the shows. I couldn't care less about a new GNR album, it's the soap opera aspect that keeps me coming back. Well that & the VR section.

Does anyone else here think that maybe Ross Halfin is the one saying this? Didn't he have it on his blog a while back the GNR would be reuniting at RIR? It it's a stretch to have Ross at a RnR Hall of Fame induction party and he could easily be considered a 'source'.
