Hey Everyone... Smiley

Now, heres a topic to talk about the age old issue of who should make the first move in the relationship.  We are in the 21st century now, should the women be able to?  Or should the men still have to make the first move?

Are guys just as scared to ask a chick out?  Who made the first move in your relationship?

As you said its the 21st century, there is no reason a woman cant ask out a guy. The old perception that a woman who did that is a tramp is absolutely assinine.

There is really no rules, it all just depends on the personalities of the people involved. I know some guys that pretty much ask out every girl that walks past them in a single day. I also know the other extreme where the guy is too scared to approach a girl for whatever reason.

Of my two fairly serious relationships, one I asked the girl out, and the other we were introduced by mutual friends and just kind of wound up together.

That probably didnt help you at all

Oh, I didnt need help, I was just posing the question... Has time changed anything?  Or do men and women still have the same roles in starting a relationship?

Ahh, yes. The old "He who cares the least, wins" game.

Of course you run the risk that she could actually care less than you.

I think roles have definitely changed, but I still prefer a guy to ask me out. I'm definitely too shy to ask a guy out.

Yesterday i was talking to a friend she told me that a lot of times she feel like wanting to get ask someones out but instead they gave them hints in an indirect way, I hate when girls always drop hints but never tell the things they want cause they think they are gonna be rejected, I mean no man will reject a girl thats for sure.
The first move should be taken for the first that really wants to be with the other person then make it work so it can be both ways  ok

There are no rules.

It's okay for girls to ask guys out, it's not like the guy will become the bitch and the girl will become the butch.

I never had a problem asking guys out when I was single.  As long as when I flirted, they seemed interested, then I'd ask.  I had to have some assurance that the answer would be yes.

Gosh!  I wish I had that confidence...  I always feel stupid.  Even when a guy TELLS me he is romanticly interested... I just cant ask him out or anything... I have to wait...   Huh  Roll Eyes  Angry

Don't treat it like you are asking him out on a date. Act like it is casual, like you just want to hang out. Less pressure on yourself, you won't be as nervous and act like yourself. If there is something there, It'll happen.
