Say if someone was planning on recording a concert in the next month or so,  hihi, what kind of camera would you reccomend? I've been looking through some Sony's and Panasonics and stuff. Price max is $450USD. I'm also looking to get a good mic with it too, unless the cam has a kickass one built in.

So thanks a TON ahead of time.

Oh also, I'd prefer it to be small, like small enough to fit in a pair of boxer breifs?  Smiley

http://www.camcorderinfo.com/ratings.php

You have to be realistic when you are shooting a bootleg...especially when it comes to sound quality. You're going to get what you pay for if your max is 450.00...if you are in a club setting it probably won't be that bad, there is something to be said for the "bootleg feel" but if your talking arena...it may be a bit more challenging to control the quality, especially if you're sneaking...good luck ok

Okay, the place is more of a club type place. So looking on that site, I should look for a high audio rating? Is that the most important thing?

you'll need to put more than 450 especially for shooting in dark environement.

if you wanna shoot concert / club scenes $800 is a minimum.

Okay, thanks for the help guys. I plan on going to Best Buy or Circuit City, something like that to talk to the guys and find one. Is anyone of them better than the other with dealing with cameras?

Thanks!
