Hi, All

« on: September 27, 2006, 09:50:51 AM »

Has anyone heard if they'll play in Montreal or are they going to pass because of what happened last time...(1992)?
Thanks,
Yanick

The abbreviation for Quebec is PQ.

I can definitely understand why there's no Montreal show, but it's great to see so many Canadian dates!
Now they just have to come to St John's, and I'll be happy

I was hoping for a Montreal show as well, but hopefully I'll make the Quebec City show.  Perhaps it wasn't so much what happened in 1992, but more that the Bell Centre is booked both the 18th and the 19th.  Then again, perhaps Montreal, St. Louise, Vancouver and Philadelphia are now nixed from here on in.  I hope not, but we'll see.

Cheers,

Andrew

Ok I posted rumors of this show and Montreal a few days ago... one from someone who heard about it on a french canadian radio station and then another one off another forum from a guy I didn't know. That guy said GNR had put a hold on both the Colisee Pepsi and Bell Centre. Obviously that didn't happen since the Bell Centre is booked for other events, but since the source came through about Colisee Pepsi at least he was either a lucky guesser or he was legit (I'm leaning towards him being legit).

So basically that means there was a chance for a Montreal show but it didn't work out (speculating) but it could happen in the future. Merck said Vancouver wouldn't be "during this run" which also means there could be another leg of the tour added later if all goes well. Remember how long GNR toured on UYI.

Anybody knows if there's a presale for the Quebec City show? I guess not since the tickets for this show are not sold by Ticketmaster...

Um, so where do I bug tickets for the Quebec City show?  The GNR presale isn't happening with me (have tride 10+ times with two different credit cards and two different computers).  Was going to call tomorrow morning (I'm out of town and away from a computer).  I noticed they haven't posted anything at ticketmaster, but something tells me that's not the proper vendor.  Any ideas?

Cheers,

Andrew
