I fuckin hate Saxophone solos in rock songs, U should hear Sax solo's at a Prince Concert though! WOW! Shocked

although the sax solo in Patrick Swayze's "She's like the wind" is quite good! ok hihi

My favorite is the one from Brown Sugar by the Rolling Stones.? What are some other good ones?

Everything Clarence Clemons has done with the Boss & E Street Band yes

The version of 'The River' at the MSG concerts in '91 I think ->  drool

Well im not that please with air instrument in a rock song, but for instance One Year of Love by Queen have a great soprano flute or sax I can't tell that it fits just well.
Also am I right by Midnight oil makes a good effort on this.  peace

David Bowie 's on "Walking On The Wild Side" by Lou Reed...ahh and another personal fave of mine, a song called "La Del Brazo" by peruvian band "Fragil" - performer: Jean Pierre Magnet.

Jean Pierre rocks, I hired him to play sax in the pink floyd tribute I organized. He ruled in Shine On, Dogs of War, Us and Them and Money!  ok
