Oh dear.

Idle, adj 1: not in action or at work; "an idle laborer"; "idle
            drifters"etc. etc.

You know those tabloid headlines? They aren't spelling mistakes...

If that is indeed what you meant then you used it incorrectly.  ok

You can't use an adjective as a noun.

Oh dear, dear me.   Undecided

At this point, really now, dear me.

Pun
n.
A play on words, sometimes on different senses of the same word and sometimes on the similar sense or sound of different words.

A pun is inconsequential if you misuse it within the sentence.  ok

But don't worry, I understood what you meant, I just thought it'd be funny.

I think that you, sir, have had your fundamental understanding of the nature of a pun muddied somehow; clearly such a thing existed in the first place. Trying to come across as too clever does you no favours. Maybe you don't read enough red top newspapers........................

Or maybe your sense of humor is just kind of dull?

Don't worry, you're still my idle idol.

12 hours and 40 minutes. I'm all good so far. Drank a Red Bull, a Mountain Dew MX (or whatever it's called), a Diet Vault and a Diet Coke. I'm all set!  ok

You know you love me.

There's so much homoeroticism flying around right now that it's giving me Deliverance flashbacks.
