Richard McNair,a convicted murderer escaped prison via a truck to a local mail facility.
He got off the truck and began running. Gets stopped by a cop who is looking for him. Of course, he is unable to provide ID, cellphone number or adress.
Yet! He manages to convince the cop he is just a jogger staying at local motel.
Encounter with McNair and the cop takes about 10 minutes, and eventually they let him go. The guy is still at large.

The best part, police released a film of the encounter! True TV with capital T.

"Robert Jones."

About as generic a name you could get too..............

Actually first he said Robert (if I heard correctly), then he said "Jimmy." Plus he matched the suspect!

He was very antsy, but did play it off fairly well..........
