ROCK STAR SUPERNOVA guitarist Gilby Clarke (ex-GUNS N' ROSES) has lined up the following solo dates:

Nov. 11 - Ottawa, ONT - The Thirsty Toad Lounge
Nov. 18 - Las Vegas, NV - Boulder Casino

As previously reported, video footage of ROCK STAR SUPERNOVA members Gilby Clarke and Lukas Rossi performing a short acoustic set during Mix 94.1's Bite of Las Vegas Food and Music Festival at Desert Breeze Park on October 21, 2006 has been posted online at YouTube.com. Check it out:

ROCK STAR SUPERNOVA ? whose lineup is completed by Tommy Lee (M?TLEY CR?E) and Jason Newsted (VOIVOD, ex-METALLICA) ? will release its self-titled debut album on November 21 via Burnett/Epic Records. Audio samples of all 11 songs that are set to appear on the CD can be found at the Sony Music Store (upper right-hand corner).

Rossi and Clarke were on hand to rock the Canadian television industry ? and fans nationwide ? as featured musical guests at the 21st annual Gemini Awards, broadcast on Nov. 4 direct from The River Rock Casino Resort in Vancouver, B.C.

As previously reported, Newsted has been sidelined by injuries to his left shoulder, right bicep and right rotator cuff. The former METALLICA member, who was injured trying to catch a 90-pound piece of equipment that had fallen from atop of his amp, is scheduled for immediate surgery and a rehab schedule that could last up to nine months. Former BLACK CROWES member Johnny Colt has been drafted to replace him.
