Eminem?

It would make (at least some) "sense". Considering all the shit him and Axl have gotten through their careers.

Maybe not as a opening act, a co-headline tour.... I'm not aware of his current popularity. Huh

I think eminem is a fan.    Didn't he dress up like Axl at the VMAs a few years ago?

mmm...ur kiddin right???

Personally, I think it would be way more interesting than Nickelback or any of those hair bands that some have suggested.

Like when GN'R opened for Aerosmith or the Rolling Stones. It made sense....

Damn Jarmo, you're pretty gangster.

Eminem has toured with rock bands before, so I don't see why he wouldn't take this opportunity if it were to be presented to him.

He does respect Axl, that's for sure.

I'd like to see Baz come along again. It's amazing value that way as Baz's show alone is a great night out and adding in GNR is just perfect. His frontman style also compliments Axl's in my opinion.

Another idea I'd enjoy would be Buckcherry.

I'd definitely go see a Faith No More + GnR tour...However, I somehow don't see that happening, and if it happens, bad stuff is bound to happen  hihi
I'd go to a Rob Zombie + GnR tour too.

Finally, Dope opening for GnR would be nice too ( their latest album, No Regrets has a rather AFD vibe and sounds great ).

I'd definitely go see GnR no matter who supports them. But yea Rob Zombie + GnR would be fun.

and yea eminem or even so called emo acts are preferable to hair bands.

I don't know anything about Jay-Z, but a concert with Eminem and Gn'R would be incredible.  There are very few concerts I'm willing to spend more than $50 on these days, but I would pay a lot to see the two of them together.

On the European leg I would like to see GNR/ Buckcherry/ Backyard Babies
now that would be a great lineup. Also it would be great to see them use the instant live format, like bands like Pearl Jam and The Black Crowes have to record shows for sale after the shows. Great way for the band to make some money and great soundboard recordings for the fans.

I do love Eminem, and agree it is a good idea, but I have seen him live twice, and thought he was a horrible live act. Maybe  the sound system was part of it, but all he did was sing (somewhat) along to his records. He would only sing like half the words, and you could hear his studio voice in the backgroud. Actually, kinda reminded me of Vince Neil live, only better.

I'd like to see Bach back again. I was pleasantly surprised how good of a show that guy put on. Hell of a rock star really.

I fully agree. I think Eminem is a great talent, but live, I am not so sure. I would also worry about the younger fans of Eminem and their treatment of GN'R. I think GN'R need a GN'R audience in attendance to make the night special.

I would also worry about ticket prices. Eminem and cru have a price. Guns, as some know here, are also not cheap to hire. In the current economic climate, one has to be careful.

Bands like Backyard Babies make sense. They know GN'R already and would, generally, be received positively by a GN'R audience. Very new bands tend to slate bands they have supported to gain media attention so this should be taken into consideration also.

Eminem is a great artist, but as we say, it's like comparing apples and oranges. I do like Eminem too, but I can't see him opening or co-headlining with GN'R.

So who? I tell you, I saw Brian Adams last year and it was one of the best Rock show I have ever seen. I think a lot of people who grew up with GN'R also grew up with Bryan Adams, it was the same erea, late 80's/early 90's. Everybody knows him. Great artist and great music. He is very respected.

Duff can't "open" for GN'R : it's his band.
