It's not a bad idea, but who support who?

Unless they want to do a double bill, I think it's GNR's obligation to give the opening spot to someone just breaking into the business.

When they are ready to do S AM, let me know, there's a kick ass band out of Argentina I'd love to see get on the bill.

Loaded  ok

I hope not. I think that Duff should be consistent what he said years ago. If this band is not GNR for Duff McKagan, he should not take advantage for his own benefit. (Loaded). Loaded is another great ex guns project anyway , as well as VR, Izzy, etc...

Izzy very famously was quoted saying that this band is not Guns N' Roses, and took part in VR during its inception.  Should Axl not be allowed to forgive, hang out him either?  Roll Eyes

if Sebastian will open for GNR again we will see the dates of the tour soon, he just posted in myspace: "Get set for 2009 concert dates! Announcement coming any second! Also get ready to meet my new guitar player! He will kick your ass!"

I sincerely doubt Baz would break news of a GNR tour, so most likely we can rule him out IF the shows in Asia take place.

I've watched Faith No More in August. They kicked asses. It will be great to see them opening for Guns even though I doubt for the Asian tour.

It wouldn't be the shocker of the year if he broke the news  hihi

All kidding aside.. Since he says the announcement is coming any second, it could relate to the GN'R shows.

I'd love to see Filter opening for Guns n' roses. And since they are doing dates in Asia and two in Japan, The birthday (featuring Chiba Yusuke and Kuhara Kazuyuki from Thee Michelle gun elephant and the great guitar player Imai Akinobu, from Rosso): they put out great songs (Stupid, Kiki the pixy, Alicia, Namida ga koboresou, Calendar girl, Ano ko no suitcase, Press factory,...) and live, they're quite fuckin' good. Go check 'em on youtube! Cheesy

I think local bands would be an awesome idea as far as famous... Black Stone Cherry , Black Tide would be cool.
