Here Today...

Just curious what everyone prefers arenas, stadiums, festivals, or clubs (or any other ideas are welcome too!). Please none of the "I don't care, as long as they tour" comments. To me stadiums are too big, the bands seem to get lost on the stage and a good portion of the crowd lose the live experience because they are better off watching it on the jumbo- trons. I personally loved Hammerstein. It was really intimate and cool. I've never really experienced a legit festival though.

I don't like stadium gigs. As venues, they're just too big.
The only way it would be ok is if it is like you're watching a sporting event where the game is right in the centre with the crowd all around. But with most stadium concerts, the band is down one end, and unless you're in front of the stage, you have a crap view.

Well I seen AC/DC and The Stones at the Rogers Centre which is classified a Stadium...There alright...Clubs I've only seen one or two and it was alright...Festivals I've been to Live 8 and Sars concert...both were awesome...But I think the best by far has to be amphitheaters...Molson amphitheatre is killer and my favourite venue for concerts

I like the intimacy of a club but love the relaxed atmosphere of a festival. Cheesy
