In this draft, chalk me up to being at a bad spot in the draft. I mean u can't pass on John Cena regardless. The fact he just won at WM also seemed like a surefire safe put the points on the board pick.

So I can't be criticized for taking Cena there.

Edge winning the title was a nice surprise. yes Not sure if he'll still have it by the end of the game but hopefully he'll get a few defences on PPV.

If Kozlov wins the ECW Title, even better! Will it happen this game though??

Cheers dude, only correction I'd make is from what I've read (haven't seen it yet), Shane just ran down and attacked Orton now in WWE's stupid world they've got no contest out of that, but we decided to ignore those and just make them DQ wins.  Assuming thats what happened.  So it'd be Orton 12, MVP 1.

Just to clarify so everyone knows, we said a few games back to ignore wwe.com because its stupid.

In the case of this I'd say its a clear as day DQ really.

A No Contest would be if Shane had ran down and just taken them both out.

Its shitty but its the best we've got.

If we said bollocks no matter what we follow wwe.com then you know they'd do something stupid that would need ignoring, in the past they stated non title bouts as title bouts, written one guy won when the other did.

Incidently I HATE wwe.com

 Cool

Edit: Oh and didn't The Miz win by forfeit?  Once again wwe.com says he did and if so no match points for Cena because he didn't show, and before D gets upset, Last game when Triple H no showed his match with Priceless they got 12, he got 0, and he was on my team to.

^I don't think the referee called for the bell. I couldn't swear to it but I don't remember hearing it. He just kind of protested to Shane who ignored him.

Kind of confusing. Should I just change it to a DQ?

EDIT: I thought that Miz/Cena thing was an arrogant promo by The Miz, knowing that Cena wouldn't turn up....

Ah for bollocks sake!  Well change it for now, I should see RAW tonight so if I see things differently I'll switch it, for the sake of my sanity we may have to just go with wwe.com next game unless Television contradicts it.

Edit: I don't have the benefit of having seen it but "wwe.com" says:

The Miz def. John Cena by forfeit (PHOTOS)
The Miz, a recent Draftee, also had his first match as a Raw Superstar. Proclaiming himself a ?television icon,? the pompous Superstar announced to the WWE Universe that he planned to make an impact by challenging one of the brand?s most dominant ring warriors, John Cena. As the former World Heavyweight Champion?s music played, the fans in attendance waited in anticipation, but Cena was nowhere to be seen ? presumably a result of the brutal Last Man Standing Match he took part in at Backlash. The self-proclaimed ?future World Champion? announced that he had won the match as a result of a forfeit, and demanded that Lilian Garcia verify that fact. When she refused, The Miz made the formal announcement himself.

I think by the results they normally give out, it's always a No-Contest if there's interference these days. It's only a dq if one of the participants breaks the rules  Undecided. I think you made the right choice.

Im gonna petition the next game for a rule change for sure.

If no wrestling takes place, no points should be awarded.

That miz shit is retarded. The bell didn't ring either so there can't be an official match without a bell ringing.

Chill dude, I said this was subject to me actually watching the show.

Watching it clearly it is just a Miz promo, its not official and wwe.com has been dumb, again, so....no Miz points.

I think by the results they normally give out, it's always a No-Contest if there's interference these days. It's only a dq if one of the participants breaks the rules  Undecided. I think you made the right choice.
See it ain't even consistent.  Because Legacy in the last game interferred in Triple H's match with Umaga and I know for a fact they listed it as a DQ win in Triple H's favour, its really starting to grate on me and with this being a 5 month game I'd like something doing about it now.

Option A)

Go with wwe.com on No Contest/DQs, but if television says different tv overules it i.e. If Chimel or Garcia announce "The winner via DQ....." (This would involve me going back through the few weeks on this game to correct everything) but at least it would be easier, whether its fairer who knows, he beats guessing whether it was a DQ or No Contest.  I don't think this will make much difference score wise but it should make things easier, if people are sensible, like I said television would overule.  So if Shelton Benjamin beat Carlito on tv and wwe.com had a typo saying Carlito won I wouldn't expect people to argue that point.

At the end of the day WWE seem to have taken to making most match finishes with interference No Contest bar the odd one so maybe we should go with it, it is a WWE Game after all.

Ideas?  (Even if you have no ideas, a simple yes or no would be cool, cheers).

I agree with the "go with wwe.com unless it's obviously wrong" idea.

Even though Shane attacked Orton, the referee never called for the bell and I think wwe.com may actually be right in this case. Shocked Which would mean you get your 4 points back and Malcolm would lose 7...

That's my opinion anyway.

Also checked through all the results this game and the only other one it affects is this:

April 6th RAW:

Randy Orton 12 Vince Mcmahon 1 is a no contest on wwe.com
.

This was after Shane ran down....the little bastard.  Its him both times  rant  Cheesy

There were 2 DQs in the Draft RAW but wwe.com listed both those matches as DQ wins.  Last nights interference on ECW is listed as a DQ win.  Edge last week on RAW in the Cena vs Jericho is listed as a No Contest and we went with that because he pushed both guys off the top rope.  I think that covers it, so people keep coming with feedback.  ok

Really, I think we should use the WWE website as guidance for this sort of thing, because it's impartial unless of course there's a really obvious mistake like the wrong name. Relying on our own opinions would open a can of worms everytime this comes up.
