pfft. i wish i had fiber optic in my area. but since my area has at&t i don't think ill be getting fiber optic... though when i plan to move out i will make sure i move to somewhere that has fiber optic. Cheaper ( like Jon) and waaay faster.... and thanks lynn.

I live in the woods so the only thing available here was to tie my internet, phone and sattelite dish all through Verizon, it works well until we get the winds going. I will rate it at about 90%. Fiberoptics here would be nice, but lucky to have this.

It's supposed to be faster. I think with Comcast, people have to share the internet connection that's spliced within a neighborhood/community, which can slow down the process. The fiber optic service is different because you don't have to split the internet connection with others. The way in which the information is transmitted is different too.
