Garry isn't offended, but that song sums up my feelings for the police.

Ditch the rice burner and toss em on the camaro, then i'll think they're cool!  ok

That's exactly my thought. I was expecting to see a z28 in here, not a fucking ricer.

Just for the record...Mr Judge reduced my fine from 125.00 to 70.00 and told me that he hopes I find a solution to my lisence plate woes, so that I can enjoy driving my lovey car.  I had the option of chosing to deferr the ticket, but that option cost the same amount as the face value of the ticket itself, however it would not have went on my record, I chose to pay the fine, as it isn't even considered a moving violation, I have a clean record so it is certainly not going to hurt.  Case closed .

I am the kind of gal that only drives a car for a couple of years and then I trade, it seemed it might be a hassle that way.  As it stands right now, my lovely Vette I bought last year, did not come with a front plate, nor does it have a place to put one without ruining my car.  I have been pulled over twice this summer and they gave me a 125 dollar ticket for it.  I have a court date this upcoming Monday in regards to this.  I am not going to ruin my expensive beautiful car by drilling into my paint, so they can just keep giving me tickets as far as I'm concerned.  Good thing It is not an every day driver, summer time and dry weather only.

  I totally agree. Take the ticket and dont hurt the VETTE.  Besides that they look like shit with the front plate!

I have to admit it would completely takes away from the look of the car, but I ultimately have to find a solution in order to drive legally here in Wa, I would love to be a complete REBEL, but it is just going to be a hassle as it has been previously, I hate getting pulled over it is embarrassing, it somehow makes me feel like a child being reprimanded by my parents lol.

Just do it! Take it to a body shop and they will hook you up. Its really no big deal, and you wont be hassled anymore.

I get where you are coming from, it looks like doo-doo with a front tag. I hated like hell putting that plate on mine, but ya have to. Rules are rules.

BTW....lets see some pics of this Corvette!!! POST UP!!!!!  peace

http://www.heretodaygonetohell.com/board/index.php?topic=53134.0  There you are!!!  Just bought a 1969 Stingray Roadster, kind of Reddish Orange with Black hard top or soft top as well on Friday.  Haven't taken any pictures yet, but will do so soon  We also have a 87 Roadster Convertable with 75,000 original miles this one is Maroon with Creme top, I think you may be able to see a part of it in the pics with the newer one, in the background.  That one is not my favorite year, but is rare as it has the 4 plus 3 transmission, not many made. They are all fun regardless ok.  P.S.  you can see there is no obvious room for a plate lol....

Thank You!!  Yes I would say we like Vettes, we love Chevrolet all the way.  I love the old school camaro's as well, 67 to be exact Wink.  I don't choose to call it being rich, I call it alot of hard work, saving up, and being established, we are in our mid 40's, so we have previously experienced what alot have yet to establish here, and I am positive good fortune is on the way for all those who seek the same Smiley.  Am I right?

I'm the manager at the gas station in my town and I had this show up at the pumps the other night;

Part of the reason it was there also was the casino had a car show going on.

Sounds like you are on the right path, but one thing we had decided was to stop making someone else all the money, you need to be the business owner, it is like renting, you are paying someone elses mortgage for them, when you could be establishing your own, and making the $$$ for yourself ok.  Well I am no finance expert, you'll have to read up on Duff's column in Playboy if you want some true advice lol...
