It's funny you post something like that because he just tweeted to someone the following comment:
The world is a safer place with me not drinking I'm afraid. iiii|; ),What is this world coming to that Slash is apparently neither drinking nor smoking?
Losing his mother to Cancer last year really seems to have put him on the straight and narrow.
It will be interesting to see what effect sobriety had on his playing this album as I suspect this is the first one he has recorded maybe ever that he wasn't under the influence of some type of substance for a good deal of the time.
