It is 2014...

A: Dude, I?ve just had this vision.

B: What?

A: In like two years, Axl and Slash are gonna reunite. And tour again.

B: Yeah, right. Not in this lifetime, haven?t you heard him?

A: Yea but seriously. They?re gonna regroup.

B: And Slash is playing Chinese Democracy there in your vision, huh.

A: Yep, and they?re gonna have a chick on keys in the band.

B: Dude, you?re trippin. Who else then? Now tell me Angus fucking Young will play with them...

A: Actually, he will, and Axl will front AC/DC for several shows that summer.

B: Ha, you should stop smoking that so much, man. I?m calling the white coats!

How did Axl tweet the AC/DC thing 19 minutes ago when they are playing right now?

You can schedule tweets to go out at certain times. No need to actually hit send. Lots of businesses and media types do this.

Watched clips from the show. Another great show!

Really seemed like November Rain was sped up some... didn't care for that feeling. Do you guys think it was sped up a little?

like half a beat or something?

The Angus Young thing was super cool too. Very cool stuff!  beer

I don't follow ACDC.. Please tell me whats the big deal about Angus playing with them? I mean, obviously its something cool, but people were talking like it was something that Angus would never do.

It's probably equivalent of Keith Richards or Jimmy Page joining them for a couple of songs.

They are living legends.

As individuals they are at a legend-level above the guys in GN'R, mostly because they've been around longer and is their inspiration.

I read somewhere (I think among the comments on blabbermouth) that Angus rarely (almost never) plays with anybody except AC/DC

The description of him as a 'caged animal' when being forced to sit on the throne was quite nice I thought.  hihi

Just seen the proshot WTTJ and NR.  Wow.  Cool  They fucking slew both of those songs.  Axl's vocals in Jungle are just fantastic.

Is it just me or does everyone chuckle when you read a reviewer and they comment how great Axl sounds recently or how great he sounded ripping through Whole Lotta Rosie and riff raff... When he's for the most part sounded this good and he's always ripped through ac/dc covers.... I was reading some ac/dc fans comments from last night and they were so happy but also at the same token they'd say Brian lost his voices years ago, etc.

I think many reviews of GN'R in the past 5 years were written with a preconceived bias against Axl, just because Slash wasn't in the band. Even if there were concerts were Axl killed it through the whole set, they felt they couldn't write a 100% positive review. It would somehow validate that version of GN'R, and it would go against their own feelings for the situation.

That being said, even if his vocals were always good in the past few years, Axl's voice is at an higher level now, so far at this year's concerts.

2006, 2010 and 2016 are so far the standout years I think. Looking at that, all of them being the first year of a touring cycle (2009 was at the end of the year, and can be tied in with 2010), let's hope he sustains this high, high level of singing for years to come now.

That's true. He and & Malcolm played with the Rolling Stones in 2003.
