Interesting pilferk factoid/pop up video:

I won $200, my senior year in high school, lip synching this song...in full Axl garb (chest protector, flannel shirt, wig, jean shorts, bandanna).

Then used that $200 to buy tickets to the UYI show at Foxboro. Smiley

Being right on top of them.  Unlike the vast distance you are far away at a stadium.

1) It's the fucking Apollo. It's a LEGENDARY venue.

2) It DOES acknowledge AFD 30, whether it's up to some peoples standards of how that SHOULD be done or not is irrelevant

3) It gets FANS (and it seems like mostly fans) up close and personal

4) Sirius gets a shit ton of good PR (maybe some $$) and...you're all listening to their show, right now.

Lets see how the rest of the night goes. Even if it's "just" a legendary soundboard we get to listen to for years of a "regular" show....which it is so far....we're getting it basically FOR FREE.

I don't have a copy anymore..but I'm sure someone does, somewhere.  I was told our alumni office has a copy stashed somewhere.
