Marmite Militia, taking over one piece of toast at a time!!!

Vocals sounds good to me. Huh

The vocals are good....the mix keeps changing a little bit here and there.

They get it dialed in perfect, and then someone turns it down a smidge, and then it comes back up.

Could it be a compression thing. In the beginning of Coma, and right now in the quiet parts, Axl's vocals are very high in the mix. Once the guitars kicks in, it all levels out.

Could be.  But I've heard the vocals come back up mid phrase.  Seems like knob turning/slider rising to me...but compression does wonky things, so....

I am recording it straight from my radio but I have no idea how to transfer it to be able to share.

From the radio to what? Laptop? Tape/CD?
I have an old school Stiletto. It records straight to the radio itself, like an iPod of sorts. It's portable.

Ah, fuck.

the Stilettos encrypt audio, I think.  Can't pull it off directly.

You'd have to literally run a line out of the headphone jack into, say, a laptop mic jack, hit play and rip it like that.

And that'd sound like shit lol.

Yeah, it's a bitch. I can post things to YouTube but that's about it. They had some software program that came with it but it never worked properly.

Not like shit, necessarily.  I mean, that's like direct earbud recording, point to point. I've done it. It's a little lossy, but not "audience recording" levels of bad.

But not as good as a good source recording would.

If you can somehow get it up on youtube, I can rip it directly from there.

Nefariously, but I can.

What is Slash playing here to start his solo? Is this something he's been playing at recent shows?

Bass has been loud the whole show. Snare and guitars could be clearer, if not, louder.

Could it be the Russians?

If so, maybe CNN will livestream the show.

Sounds almost like the intro to "soul man", but its not.

Has it ever been confirmed that Axl is even human? Do we know for sure?
Or do we just take it for granted without any evidence?
Seriously. Can anyone confirm?

My mind can't comprehend how a mere mortal can do what he does with both his lungs and chops.

I taped Paris 92 from the tv by putting a fisher price tape recorder next to the speaker and hitting record. At one point you could hear my parents coming home and asking what was going on over the top of it!

Hahahahaha

That's awesome.

I would have loved to hear him do Anastasia, in to the Godfather, into SCOM

I was as obsessed at 12 as i am now! Haha! I used to all sorts of stuff like that- even cut sections of tape out of the cassettes to remove swearing so it could be played on the school bus without me getting into trouble. Mental.
