It was announced yesterday in Germany that all big events (Wacken Festibal, Lollapallooza etc.) are not allowed until August.

I expect the band to cancel or postpone the whole tour soon.

Social distancing could be a thing until 2022, coronaviruses have been around for almost 100 years, there has never been a vaccine or a cure. It's pie in the sky to expect anything quickly, it will be control over hospital intake and herd immunity that will be the ultimate cure, or hope that it mutates into something less.

... actually we came close to a vaccine years ago but funding dried up due to our privatization of resources.

https://www.nbcnews.com/health/health-care/scientists-were-close-coronavirus-vaccine-years-ago-then-money-dried-n1150091

"We have a pattern in our medical research landscape in which outbreaks lead to a surge in research investment, and if and when those outbreaks wane, as they invariably do, other priorities take their place," Schwartz said. "As a result, you lose those opportunities to capitalize on that initial investment, and the cycle starts over again."

The responsibility to fund this type of research must rest with governments and nonprofits, Schwartz said, because for-profit pharmaceutical companies can't be counted on to fund projects that, in most cases, will never make money.

Prague show will also be cancelled.
The current plan is that they will allow culture events of maximum 60 people in June.

Or maybe if they play a club show instead, then it could happen. I wouldn't protest Cheesy

For example, Firenze Rocks is still not postponed.

And none of their own headlining dates have been postponed, right?

No.

But it's not just GN'R. KISS and Iron Maiden still have their European tours on sale as well.

I don't know if everyone's waiting for governments to finalize their rules regarding gatherings and/or if it's a matter of figuring out at what point in the future all these shows could happen instead.

I think big events such as music festivals, football matches, etc will not happen until there's a vaccine. Football maybe not. Because there could be the players only. Having said that, this year is pretty much done.

Here in Brazil there's a new massive phenomemon called ''lives'' where artists performs their songs live and broadcast it over the internet (Youtube mainly). Would like to know if this is happening around the world.

Was day dreaming the other day about Axl, Slash and Duff maybe could pull something like this. They could perform acoustic songs. Would be awesome.

When they do resume touring, maybe not this specific tour, but maybe some other time it would be cool if the played, like three different sized venues in the same city. Stadium-setlist for casual goers, all the hits, arena- a bit more deep cuts and theater- off the charts with the setlist-go crazy, maybe all new songs, and in different arrangements or what not.

Back in the day Slash missed playing clubs when the were huge and playing stadiums. Just prior to the reunion, " Up Close and Personal" seemed like more like the only way to go at the time. Now they have the power to pick and choose where and how they want to play.
