I attended the show, and it was a sight to see.  He was in great form.

The part where he screamed "FUCK"  was just creepy.  He was acting normal and then all of the sudden he just yells "fuck" a few times.  the audience didn't know how to react.. it was strange.   It wasn't a high pitched scream, it was just his regular voice yelling "fuck"  Sort of an "I left the oven on" type of fuck.

They fucked up on Madigascar sadly.  When the quotes began to roll I beleive Bumblefoot got a bunch of shit on his guitar and started wiping it off with a towel, so Fortus looked over and had to cover for him, but not too well.  Kind of a downer actually, my favorite part of the song is the beginning of that solo during the quotes/video.

Axl messed up "My Michelle".  He did his maniacal " ha ha HAAA" that usually leads into the solo I beleive, but he did it a verse too early and Bach got confused and messed up the lyrics a little but.  It wasn't a big deal though, good times.

The girl I was with (18 y/o) has never seen the new lineup of GNR before, and she had an enormous crush on Robin Finck.  Every time he did his hippy ass leg moves on guitar she moaned.. it was a comical experience.  He (in my opinion) is the best guitarist of the 3 (for gnr).  He has such a unique presence, and his playing is very good.  I never was a fan of Bumblefoot for GNR.

SEBASTIAN BACH

My god he owned the stage.  I always made fun of him until last night, that boy has some energy and talent.  He puts on a great show.  I was surprised.

EDIT:  Hey where were you guys seated anyhow?  I was in 301, row E.  Curious if I sat near one of you without knowing.

Just so you know, it wasn't Axl that messed up My Michelle, I'm pretty sure it was Bach who sang the wrong verse.
Highlights (other than the show being absolutely great):

Better, I.R.S., The Blues, Chinese Democracy, Madagascar, Down on The Farm and
Used to Love Her.

Dissapointment: No Paradise city. About five minutes after the house lights were turned back on, you could hear the tech crew blast off the final pyro that was meant to be used during PC.
Lastly, as great of a drummer as Frank is I miss Brain. Also, I don't like Frank's slight alterations that he's made to the drum part on Chinese Democracy.

Other than that, one of the best nights I've had in my life. The "new" line-up is like a dream come true....

Axl definately caused the screw up on "My Michelle"  He screamed "ha ha HAAA" like he usually does, but a verse too soon which confused Bach for a second.  Bach definately messed up the lyrics a bit, but only due to Axl's mess up.

When a guy screams "HA HA HAAAA" before a solo every time, but then suddenly screams it at an incorrect time it can get confusing.  You are expecting the solo when you hear the maniacal laugh (Pavlovs dog) but for poor Sebastian.. the solo never came Smiley

It wasn't a big deal at all, it was covered well.  Every concert is going to have its little querks.

Yeah it tripped me out when he started yelling "FUCK!!!" right before patience he was bent over and staggering off the stage.  It seemed like some kind of a put on though.  It was right before Patience so it seemed like he was trying to do some super aggresive move kinda as a joke.  I didn't really get it but it was fascinating to watch.

Also Madagascar did get messed up a little bit during the MLK "Stand up for righteousness!" part but that was Richard's bad.  He always does that solo and hits the first note but he messed the timing up this time.  Not a problem as he got it going but it wasn't as good as the performance in Everett where he just nailed it.  "Stand up for righteousness!"  (Richard with the wah-wah pedal) "BWaahahhahahahhhhhhrhrhrhhrhhhrhh"

I was in section 101 row O.  There was a pretty rowdy crowd of people where I was sitting but they slowly streamed out as the show went on.  They were rocking but the whole 2 AM on a Monday thing got to people.  Plus it was raining like shit outside.  My girlfriend and I moved up to the first row to watch Madagascar and were getting ready for PC but he just said "Thank you Goodnight" kinda softly and walked off the stage.  The lights went out and the rest of the band watched him for a few seconds and then followed him off.   And now they've cancelled the Fresno show.  So weird......

Anyone notice if Axl was showing signs of fatigue or perhaps still under the weather? I noticed at the Edmonton show Axl was blowing his nose constantly.

I do that sometimes too - just yell Fuck or sometimes I just yell crazy words cause I like the way they sound. I'm telling you - you have to be half nuts to be a genius.

My theory on the fuck and no PC - Axl pooped his pants and couldn't believe it was happening during a show but couldn't completely change because he would need a shower so they cut out after two encores so he could take off the shitty trousers.

Glad to hear a mention of forth coming album. I don't care if it's this year or next or next - just give me a fucking album. I have as much patience as it takes.

Shouldn't the setlist page of this site mention something about Paradise City not being played at this show? After all, it's not that common.
