BA... sorry if I missed it but do you know who the guy was, I'm not asking you to tell us but could you understand how he came to have such a disc?

a private eye:

thats what baffled me the most and why i was so shcked when i realised what the cd was.

this guy was like in his fourtys in a suit scottish with a fit wife and had no evidence of being in the music industry from what i saw.i was very confused.

I think it's a crock of shit... any fan would at least be able to remember unique parts of songs or possibly chorus lines, or some solo's, saying a solo sounded "electronic"... really don't narrow stuff down too much. Also two blank cd's just laying on top of a cd player is kind of a far fetched story...

Anyway, I'm not checking out that damn myspace link.. stop polluting the forum with that link unless it has GOOD GNR INFO!!!

BA, I'm interested in what you're saying about what you've heard.? Everyone else is just jealous that they didn't have such luck? Wink !? Anyway, how do the songs sound overall?? Did Axl adjust GNR to 2006, or does it sound dated?? Oh, and what about the music?? Are there any blistering guitar solos in there, or is it focussed more on the vocals?

just give us a pm and ill talk to you.

Oh, and just for the record: I do believe this guy is telling the truth, Chelsea is quite a posh area. One of the most expensive places to live in around London.

I think you shouldve posted when Jarmo is around to back you up.   I just realized that you old timers almost never post in the GNR section, at least while I've been here.  and yeah, you'll get a pm from me.

BA, thanks for sharing, I believe you and it sounds like the Illusion theory of these songs is multiplying, I know when people post info like this they are gonna be scrutinized like hell....so here are my thoughts:

#1, Please for the love of God stop putting your website as part of your automatic text...put it in your signature like the other 5,551 members do here...everyone has a local band that is important to them so it's not like one is more important than another's.

#2, I think it'd be alot easier for people to believe you, if you hadn't been the one who caused a "any way to filter personal message spamming?" thread http://www.heretodaygonetohell.com/board/index.php?topic=24899.0 in the Admin section back in the middle-to-late January. ?My spam message from you came on January 18, 2006, at 09:35:22 PM.

Yeah but at the end of the day anyone who lives in London knows that Chelsea is the rich area........ beats the shit out of Whitechapal anyday, its common knowledge to   him!

His story is probably legit, if it is then cool, it doesnt really matter, this is just like the guy from NY who heard the actual CD a while back. The only thing that sticks out is that it was in London, but if this guy lives in Chelsea, then he probably does what everyone else who lives in Chelsea does, travels for 364 days every year and then spends 1 day in their multi million ? mansion! I dunno,
