Cool to see Axl put "Rocket Queen" back into the setlist last night. Smiley

I wasn't there but from the reviews I'm really dissappointed that he still hasn't added any mroe Illusion songs.

What a night is all I can say, I was super drunk, hung out till after 1am, enjoed the show etc

My highlight was meeting ron out the back entrance after the show...He's from brooklyn, he signed my ticket really cool mentioning a pizza place we spoke of..  Very short guy, but sweet as could be.. I respect the man very much, he stood out there with us answering everything..

Joe satriani had something to do with getting him into new guns as he said... We just talked a lot I even hugged the dude... I really let him know how great it was that he was out there showing us such love..

Bach also came out and signed but left quickly, thenn old uncle axl jumped into an suv without even waving to any of us, he was with beta I noticed her in the car...

Ron thal, or bumblefoot I asked him... He evenbtually said ron, he had a lot of no comments.. I told him I don't call it gnr, snuck it in, but he's a slash fan so it was really cool

great night, great guy...
Starts all over now

everyone I met at mh's was great, gunslinger very cool, the whole night was awesome.. Sorry I was so drunk hihi

judging from the set list im glad i was there on friday instead of sunday.

rocket queen is one of my favorites, but id rather have i.r.s., twat. madagascar then that.

other than that it sounds like it was a great show and you guys had a good time, glad to hear it.

happy they are making setlist changes though, itll keep it fresh for me on the 17th.

I was thinking about that on Saturday, how those in attendance Friday were the FIRST people to hear TWAT, IRS and Better performed live by GNR - pretty cool.

Will be in Mezz2 tonight - gonna see how the other side lives Wink

I wonder what the whole thing with Tommy and Axl was about? I'm glad they have seemed to patch things up. Maybe they will talk about it in an upcoming interview.

ron was cool like that, he understood where I was coming from.... I praised the dude left right up down, he respected my feelings... Remember the guy is a rock fan too ,he understands... he gave me a big hug Grin he said he's a slash fan so that was cool..  Ron has my total respect.. Axl walked by us and didn't say hi, it would had been so cool.. Ron felt bad in a way.. He was trying to get bach over to us too.. hRon was awesome..

TS I was into like my 35th beer I was hammered..

You and I both walk both sides of the fence, so I understand.  Ron seems like a genuine nice guy.

I thought the same thing about IRS on Friday...that it sounded a little off. Even worse, was that last night, Axl came in too early singing the verse to paradise city. Friday night he blew the whistle too early, last night he sang the opening verse too soon; why can't he nail that song? He only closes with it every show

it's called 'being in NYC when your band is rehearsing in LA for over a month' Tongue

But this is Axl's M.O., since the UYI days. That's why they have these 'warm-up shows'-to get tighter and try to work the kinks out as much as possible before the 'actual' tour starts---not the most efficient way to do things, but it is what is is. I guess the good news is as opposed to the 2002 tour, they have a lot of dates, so it'll give them the chance to get tighter and tighter.

Last night was my first GN'R concert and it was amazing.  Robin Fink and Richard Fortusgo so well together it's unreal.  Fink owned that stage, as others have said, bumblefoot is cool, but fink ran that place.  Axl's voice was so damn good and mch better than the bootlegs from 2002 that I saw.  I can't wait until I can go again tonight on the balcony and try to record this fucker for you guys.  My only complaint, and the most common onem is that he didn't play Madagascar, Twat or IRS. But Better and The Blues were awesome and it was cool to hear Rocket Queen.

It was awesome to meet MikeGiuliana and Darknemeus.  Both great guys.  I met alot of other people, but these two stand out the most.  Hope I can meet some more of you guys today at MHs.
